@cassandraverge​ // “what a way to meet.” there’s an eeriness now, even in midday. it’s after a writer’s panel on children’s literature in the barnes and noble on 5th avenue. and right before another panel on the adaption of literature to children’s media. overall, it’s an interesting topic, gertrude might say. or she might if she wasn’t more acutely interested in someone else in attendance. “don’t you just yearn for well-crafted stories?” 

it’s not hard to recognize this woman. dark hair tumbling down her back and blue eyes that pierce, even when they shift to a stormy or steely gray. she’s not that tall, actually. so her nature of imposition is somewhat of a surprise. “cassandra, wasn’t it? we’ve met a few times around town. how are you enjoying the lectures?”

Gambino texting Shackles at 4 AM: "I'm having an existential crisis, please send me some memes."

He’s slow to turn over and pick up the offending light, but when he reads who the message is from, the echidna sits upright with a big yawn.

Memes, eh? 

If it was this late and Gambino was texting him for them, it must be an emergency. Quickly, he goes through the completely unorganized picture folders on his phone, picking out the highest quality of memes to send to the chimera.

Unfortunately, for the petite troll, his vision was still incomprehensible at best. Alas, it had to take quite the pointy rock to imitate the assassin. Something akin to that of the sharp nature, perhaps that which his name almost reflects, anger.

Four small hands would raise && drag down the blind fools damaged face. Which dawned the decor of quite the nasty scar, over the cheek. Who would have known that simple words could drain him so?

His tone was almost.. antagonizing. Or was that just his personality?

     “I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT.”  the way she--record, her designation is RECORD--says it, puts 9S on edge.  && he gives record another look, his eyes darting across the HUD before they settle onto record.

     “i am not a special flower, either.”  looks like metaphors are lost on him.

the countess does not refrain from approaching the male, for though he is the only lover to have successfully stolen her heart completely. and though they’ve traveled far away from the hotel cortez, their habits and hobbies have changed little. with her face mere INCHES from thomas’ own, anger evident in emerald eyes and almost undeniably fear inducing ( to any normal person, at least ), she speaks slowly and carefully to enunciate each word individually.   ❛ why does it matter? ❜   oh, but it is because thomas lures women to their doom, period. he is hers, and sharing thomas with anyone irks the platinum blonde to no end... despite the fact she lures any and all to their end without him rather often.
