Until he turned around and was promptly met with the three foot tall visage of a prehistoric reptile. He blanched with comical surprise and did a double take, blinking owlishly at the turkey-sized creature with the long, powerful tail and the enlarged hind claws standing so still some distance away-

Shinji swiftly ducked behind a corner, crouching down on the ground at the same time, back to the wall. What the hell was that.

...A velociraptor. In the warehouse? After a few seconds, he cautiously peered around the wall once more...but the reptile was still there, standing motionless, elongated head canted towards him with apparent intelligence. ...Only it was also a many paces closer now. Ominously so. The blond started to sweat. Either he was seeing things, or- Wait a minute.

He squinted in thought. The critter was familiar. Glowing white like a moon orb, with slit-pupiled lavender eyes and twin violet streaks running down its pale back all the way to the ends of its tapered tail. Shinji craned his head out once more for a better look, and this time, promptly came face to muzzle with the sneaky, fleet footed dinosaur.
