"Try me," Kido countered, her brows knitting together. She wanted to hear the truth; but was she ready for it?

A slightly bitter laugh left Seto's lips. He didn't believe it, he didn't believe any of it.

"I had been told that no one would care if I left, that no one would look for me and so far it seemed to be true."

"I had been attacked multiple times by someone who said they wouldn't stop until I left of my own accord. And that person was Kano."

"Why you've left," Kido whispers, there were tears in her eyes.

Kido looked so hurt. But it didn't make much sense to the male. Kano had told him so many things, that ended up mixed with some of his own fears and worries. It all caused him to actually believe that no one missed him or cared. No one had looked for him, hadn't they?

This was confusing him. Frustrating him. How was it that Kido seemed to care now? After all, Kano had said that no one cared or even asked where he went. Why would he lie about that? (Then again, Kano was someone who tricked others for fun...)

"If I told you... I doubt you'd believe me."
