26. You just got a free plane ticket to anywhere in the world, but you have to leave immediately. Where are you going to go?

Ideally? Hyannis, Massachusetts, to visit my aunt. Realistically, there’s no way in hell I’m getting on a plane and leaving Canada. If I’m traveling, it’s by car, where I’m infinitely less likely to get sexually harassed/assaulted by TSA or customs agents.

40. Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets?

Both are lovely, but I prefer sunsets

50. What is the most unusual conversation you’ve ever had?

I had to attend a send-off party for a friend of mine who was studying abroad for a year in Sweden. Me, him, and my best friend had caught a Radiohead concert the day before, and my best friends and i didn’t know anyone at the party aside from our shared friend.

Somewhere in the night, we got separated, and I ended up being mistaken for someone else and having to console this guy whose girlfriend just dumped him by slipping a note into his favourite book, so of course his favourite book was now ruined, and he kept oscillating between crying and trying to laugh it off, but a lot of his jokes were inside jokes or something? Because he kept expecting me to get them, and I wasn’t, and then he’d start worrying that I got drugged “again”, and it was a mess.

Eventually, he passed out on the couch, but it was a strange experience. Never been mistaken for someone else to that extent before, never had someone believe it so fiercely that it wasn’t a possibility to them that I wasn’t this person.

{           Hi! Wow, it feels good to be back (if not a little strange). It’s really been a long time. It might take me a while to get up and running again, so feel free to check out my in-progress Seiji/Saki fic that I started for DRRR!! Rare-Pair month ages ago.
