"...Why are people so invested in William and Mr. Holmes?"
"...At least I know how to be quiet."
"Oh come now, I slept like a baby. They couldn't have been that loud."
"...You were drunk on wine."
"I thought they were just fine. I will keep saying how Will needs some fun in his life, you know?"
"...William has a good poker face, but he's not fooling anyone."
"Usually you'd never guess what's on the guy's mind, but it's blatantly obvious."
"Very. I think the only one that doesn't see it is Will himself."

«— For the longest time, Hermione couldn't tell the Weasley twins apart. This isn't surprising, given their own mother easily mixes them up. Only when anyone truly focuses can they see the differences, and even then, the twins don't make it easier for people. during Hermione's first and second year, the pair were virtually interchangeable, and she rarely saw them apart. The shtick of 'twins' was as prominent as their red hair and sense for mischief.
It wasn't until her third year, leading into her fourth, that Hermione worked out the difference between them. Several clues formed, aside from the physical differences. The looks they gave her varied over the years, as did how they teased her. Fred would almost always be the one hazing her, questioning her authority, or generally snapping out a smart comment at her expense (or to her amusement). George on the other hand was focused on adding a sympathetic side to the discussions, and following up on whatever Fred had interjected with.
Now, she can usually guess which is which based on the minor differences, and the way they react to her. Hermione began to see them as two separate people entirely - unlike a large portion of the rest of the school, who weren't lucky enough to be friends with them. Much to her surprise, the nature of Fred's humour, his rapt attention to undermining her and other ineffable factors led her to find Fred - more interesting, shall we say.
