Change of Plans || Emrys & Meg
While he was used to just leaving out of the blue in the past, Emrys wasn't able to do that anymore. Each time he left he would arrive back in London to people asking where he had been. If he had been harmed, or if he was going through something that he needed to talk about--so many people that seemed to care about his well being. People that genuinely missed him in this odd place that he had come to a year ago.
One year and now he had friends and family. It meant losing people, but that was how life worked. He would lose people and gain them all at the same times. Often in handfuls.
And the person that had to be notified first was often thought to be Tobias--or Aria. But, he was aware of how Meg seemed to be stern over him alerting her of his leaving. To tell her and she did work for Tobias, after all. She worked for him and thus that linked her to Aria as well. It was like getting everything done in one clean swoop. Besides, he would get to telling Tobias and Aria all in due time.
He wasn't sure if Evie was home or just Meg--all he knew was that he heard the neighbors yelling about a toaster staring at them through a window still. It was followed by a boxing-ring bell going off in the flat next to that one and Emrys was questioning the sanity of this building.
He had seen worse. But seeing this all within the vicinity of Meg's home seemed to just get a slight knowing sigh out of the tall man as he knocked on the door loud enough for her to hear--or for Evie to hear. He wouldn't just sneak in, not after the punch Evie landed onto his eye the last time.
"Meg? Are you home or is Evie there...? I'm ...well, I have to tell you something, actually. Just as I promised, I came here before vanishing into thin air."
