“hey asshole.” raven says as she steps out into the dining area, taking a seat next to her wife, her eyes upon him as a smirk appeared on her face. “see you’re still trying to hit on my wife.” she teases him, her eyes glancing around the room a quick survey of the area before brown eyes look back at his face. he’d seen better days she notes in her head. “where is your girlfriend? thought you two would be hauled up in a room somewhere, making up for lost time.” she tells him, that smirk still upon her face, hand in luna’s as she reaches for a glass of water to drink.

her lips twitched upwards with a smile, one that she was able to hide a little behind the raising of her tea mug to her mouth for another sip. “it’s only tea.” she mumbles, for a moment she’s certain she can pull off feigning oblivious as to why the room was spinning on him but...she also can not find it in herself to hold a lie. 

it likely made luna the absolute worst when it came to playing because when she attempted to fib and jest...she tended to feel bad at times about being dishonest and would turn herself right in. “it’s jobi tea. i heard your people have tried the nuts.” she adds, that quickly...turning herself right in. she sipped...a bit more loudly on her own mug, breathing out a soft laugh because she had long-since built up a tolerance to it’s effects.

He knew that… N o w… After his whole plan nearly took his life. He had played with a fire that might’ve been a tad bit too big for what he wanted to achieve…  And yes, he regretted decisions made… But he also believed he had done the best he could with the hand that was given to him… Brows furrowed, he let the tip of his finger move over the edge of the glass before him, lips pursed into a thin line and a slow nod being given.

Morality, not immortality… Right?

“ Too bad, you and I know I’m pretty damn good with chaos and bloodshed. “ he finally spoke wryly, a bitter smile touching at his lips momentarily before he looked over at her. “ … What if they were right. What if this is all we know what to do? Monty told us to be the good guys but… “ he trailed off, glancing to the side.

Another planet, another problem…

she could see the bitter smile touching his lips, but still. raven didn’t like the words he spoke of. “we both know you’re more than that.” she murmurs. they were all more than that. she just wished they could all see that. “it’s not.” she tells him, her voice louder now, more stern but her eyes were just as stern as she stared at him. “then be the good guys. it’s not hard. we just got to stop taking other people’s homes, and start building our own.” of course she knew it wasn’t that simple, but they had the people, they could do the work. they just needed to stop looking at other people’s places, and wanting that for themselves. “we’ve got to stop conquering people for their places. start building our own. a planet is big enough for us to build our own place, to have our own rules you know?” she says, her eyes glancing over at clarke and the rest of them before she was looking to murphy once more. “i know that it’s only words, because who listens to us, right? it’s easier to start wars than to talk peace and actually stick to it.” she breathes out to him, her eyes then glancing to her wife. she wouldn’t let harm to come to her, she wouldn’t follow clarke and the rest of them into a war. not while she had luna by her side. she promised her, on the ring, and she would keep that promise. “if you want chaos and bloodshed, you know how to get it, murphy. just follow the two who bring it to us, and you’ll get what you wish for.”

raven was trying her best here. she was trying her best to figure out how to get them to the ground. she had been starting on this a year prior to their mark, with no such luck. she had been going out on space walks not for the thrill of it but for work to find out how to get them back down, but nothing was really working. she could sense people’s frustrations, as it got closer to the time. “what am i missing?” she murmurs to herself, while looking at the computer’s trying to decipher where the hell she was going wrong. she could hear footsteps behind her, and figured it was luna, ready to come and whisk her away to their bed. she’d been doing that since raven started on this project. “i can’t sleep right now, luna. i feel like i’m two years behind where i should be.” she murmurs, her eyes not leaving the screen, as her fingers continued to tap on the keyboard.
