So, the jig is up? Seems like it ;3

For a good while now, I’ve been planning and raving over an Entity! Event for this blog. There’s been a bit of foreshadowing, if you wanna go look for it. Now that I’ve been given the chance to rave here, I shall! 

Firstly: Entity!Brin started out as just Brinley but more with more cute baby rage and powers. Just for crack, but then I got to thinking- hmm, with recent events, she might… Get a little evil? So, I scrapped the first concept and completely overhauled the idea of who Entity!Brin would be. As she stands now, she’s literally insane. I’ve got a few art things of her in the works, and once you see them, you’ll know what I mean. E!Brin’s thing- her gimmick- is rage. Rage and hate and Fear. Fear because of Rage, rage because of Fear. If it’s gotta do with those three things then she feeds on it. She can smell it, she’s a little beast. 

E!Brin personality wise is straight up unpredictable in every sense of the word, she never sleeps, she’s hyper, giddy, always grinning and cackling to herself. She’s possessive, like every other Goddamn Entity in this community and it’s very very very easy to get her to hate you. It’s also easy to get her to like you and keep you. Just give her chocolate or any sort of passive, positive attention. 

As for plots, she’s got a list of people she’s going to hurt/kill. That list can grow, if you want it too, just pop into this here askbox and do so ;3. Though, she’ll also be dishing out gifts. Items, cosmetics, food, drink. Anything that would get you on her good side, she gives back. Though she might get a little clingy, and grabby. She just can't help the need to tear things apart. 

Post Entity!Event, Brin will be more or less happier(less angry) Before how she was when a few things kick-started her bottled up anger. She’ll become more jumpy, timid, nervous, more trusting, less bitter. Her memory of certain events will kind of fade? Not completely, though she wouldn’t be able to recall it without someone reminding her. Also: Brin won’t remember a single thing about her Entity powered rampage, so feel free to bully her for it once it’s all said and done. (This might change to her just barely remembering bits and pieces of what happens, but not a whole lot at all.) 

There’s no set Date for when I’m finally doing the event, because personal life is a thing and I’m too busy currently. Soon, hopefully. Somewhere in the near future. I’m trying to get Brin angrier and angrier so E!Brin’s got more to feed off of while she’s out and about. Anons, please bully my child. I'm literally begging you. Please, it’s all for the content.

You were more or less kidnapped for a few days. The winged serpent that brought you here is coiled around a great, big dead tree, staring down at you with an eyeless face. It ate you. It ate you! ] [ Devisio is a miserable planet. To you. It's hot, dry and way too quiet. But that's not what's on your mind right now. ] [ No, what's on your mind right now is the troll standing patiently under the dead tree, who turns her face away a touch and puts in a mouthguard as you bound over in furious steps, closing the distance. ] [ You punch your manager in the face. ]

Serpent: Exposit

as we get closer to our destination, I find it necessary to go into depth on one of the myriad species found in the universe.

the rocites are a stout, avian race. never reaching more than four feet, they’re blessed with four eyes, a six foot wingspan and feathers which wick away intense heat. the latter feature is especially important, as their home planet of devisio is unbearably warm. they’re herbivorous, long lived (200 sweeps average) and very communal, with 2-3 life partners and rear approximately 6 young at a time.

as a society, democracy is an absolute must. with one another, they tend to agree on most things, though they can be a touch xenophobic. incredibly mercantile as well, a number of rocites can be found in just about any galactic market, bazaar and 2 bit garage sale.

they’ve got something of a luddite streak in them, particularly involving any kind of automation or body augmentation. thus, the rocite assembly and the alternian commonwealth have been on fairly shaky ground with one another. especially considering that they were the next target for assimilation from her immortal consciousness—before the universe reset.

as a consequence, they’ve taken a bit of a shift in their religious structure. mmm…perhaps it’s more appropriate to say they’ve adopted one, being largely irreligious before recently. while the alternian pantheon of 12 has never been properly worshipped (with the exception of her irradiance, who technically heads the two main alternian faiths), the rocites have found The Betrayer’s tale to be worthy of worship, as a means of subverting the commonwealth.

as is the case with all religions, many underground sects have devoted themselves to bringing their “messiah” back from their temporal prison, and—

{That’s why I didn’t really write anything from Regal’s perspective, because I was unsure of how he was going to be. I mean, the Beast is pretty isolated and generally angry for the start, but it’s only an AU setting and so I was unsure of what feelings would be? I wouldn’t want to jump the gun so :’)}
