"This building barely deserves the title of a library,” Loki muttered under his breath. He didn’t expect anything like the libraries of Asgard and Asgardia, but this was just disappointing. Some of the books weren’t even in the correct place! He hadn’t bothered to learn the Dewey Decimal System but he was fairly certain that a children’s book about fairies wasn’t meant to be in the history section.
A history section that didn’t seem to hold any books he needed. How was he meant to do research to figure out why he was here if they didn’t even have books on the history of this city? This would be less a problem if the phone they gave him could actually use the internet browser but no, they just had to steal his Starkphone and give him a shoddy replacement with no internet.
He turned towards a man standing near him. “Excuse me, good sir,” he started, plastering on a smile that would make anyone who knew him immediately ask what he was up to. “Would you happen to know of any larger libraries in this city? This one is rather... lackluster.”
