Leaning against a wall in the hallway, practically blocking the exit to the deck with his large frame, Atlas' eyes glimmer with all the otherworldly stars they contain in them. There's a gaze Atlas gives Akira that displays his concern for the other, yet he stays exactly where he is as well. He doesn't want to stress them out anymore than they are by getting up and wanting to help explain or calm them outright, yet he also knows staying docile yet distant won't get them to open up about what's on their mind. The primal knows this kind of dance, having lived through it and seen many mortals sidestep or glide with ease over the riddles of life, but that doesn't mean it ever gets easier to deal with.
"I heard someone raise their voice," Atlas starts, shifting a bit to face Akira completely, "and then all of a sudden everything go quiet. I assumed some sort of argument or fight took place, so I was waiting here for one upset party of the scuffle to emerge, just in case any rage or anger needed to be further calmed or cooled...Though I certainly wasn't expecting you, Akira." He states it all bluntly and matter-of-fact, hand on heart to signify his honesty. "Regardless, I will still give you the same beginning as I would to anyone - if you need to vent in any way to further clear your head, I shall be here for you." He says even as he opens the door to the deck, winds whipping through both of their hair. Atlas presses himself against the wall then, allowing Akira much needed space for their escape - sometimes the winds of the sky were the only things that could heal a heart, after all, helping any person learn to breathe deeply again. It seemed like it was really needed.
