When Olive had first entered the city, she’d assumed that the lack of a Bat Signal had meant no Batman. While she hadn’t actually seen Batman yet, she had seen someone dressed up as Robin and now there was a woman dressed up as Batgirl. Only... There’d never been a We Are Batgirl movement, had there? Which meant... She was actually Batgirl. Great. And right after Olive had started to think that she could be away from every Bat and the prying eyes of the Headmaster and professors. But no, she’d never get a break from them.
“What do you want? Watching me for Batman?” She hoped Batgirl said that Batman wasn’t here. She prayed that Batgirl would say that.
If the entire staff of Gotham Academy had been watching her so she didn’t end up like her mom, then it could have only been Batman’s orders. The other Bats probably knew about her too then or at least knew of her mother and would be able to recognize her. White hair, red eyes, and an obvious distaste for Gotham’s heroes wasn’t hard to match to her and her mom.
