“Hmm...a hunter?”
Laurence was peering from a bridge at the underpass below -- the city was large, to be certain, but he had seen Yharnam rise from nothing; a maze of paths and alleys, dominated by tall, spire-like buildings reminiscent of cathedrals, places of worship and humility. In comparison, this city seemed almost...tame.
But he was no fool. He knew of what lay below the surface, what manner of potential existed even in the most unassuming of places. For him, it was not a matter of whether a tranquil locale held deep-seated secrets, but how quickly he would be able to dig them up...make use of them. As he performed his quiet observations, his dark eyes fell upon a young man walking past -- the man dressed in the garb of a holy man held out his arm to get the passerby’s attention.
“...You seem to be finding your way around. A newcomer, perhaps? You’ve the stance of a fighter...have you seen much blood in your time?”
