daniel likes sphere. the schedule isn’t as harsh as kenta’s; there’s a lot to learn, but a lot of opportunity for him to do what he loves, too, and to get better in the areas he wants to. maybe it helps that he has his foot in just about every door: instruments, song writing, singing, rapping, and with this month’s evaluation, he is working his tail off to become a better dancer. for this month, he shelves most of what he loves in favor of practicing the routines, and that includes a proper breakfast, getting something quick and stuffing it in his mouth before heading to the studio to get some extra practice in before dance lessons.
when he arrives, however, someone is already there, and daniel pauses at the door to process. it’s changyoon, rapper of 6tunes (what instrument did he play again? did he play one?) in his dance practice room. daniel knows better than to think this is a mistake, and his face breaks out into a slow smile of realization. “hey,” he greets him, and then it dawns on him that he gave him a flyer...when, yesterday? his features settle into a more comical pout. “hey! i gave you a flyer yesterday! there’s no way you didn’t know you got into sphere then...right?” as always, with just about any confident statement daniel makes, doubt accompanies it.
"congrats, though,” he adds, and past the initial excitement and desire to celebrate comes the awareness that this means a gaping whole in another band, if not the entire downfall of it. at least daniel had more than a year with empty enigma. he can’t say the same of 6tunes.
