Cold, yellow eyes examined Cana’s face as she spoke as if they were expecting her to say some kind of lie or excuse. They softened, for just a second, once Cana had finished explaining herself. “It’s fine,” Avenger grumbled before rolling her eyes.

“My foot got scuffed in the last fight, but I can walk perfectly fine. Your attentions are better focused on that runt Caster, or even on Archer. Just make sure you ask next time, unless you want me to burn away your disgusting hands.”

     The fancy bags by the side of her desk looked quite familiar. Alice had always thought herself to have a pretty decent sense of style - while she didn’t follow recent trends all that closely, she was confident that she could present herself well. Ever since befriending Cana, her interest in fashion started growing again, reminding her of her first year of university when she shared a flat with a gorgeous model. Her wardrobe had definitely gotten an upgrade with their shopping trips, and was about to get more lovely additions. Taking each piece out and enjoying the feel of the fabrics against her skin, the doctor had to remind herself she was still at work lest she start trying them on as well.

“You have much too high expectations of me, Cana! Thank you for the gifts! I can’t wait to plan outfits around them!”

“–??” Avenger could only let out a faint noise of surprise as her Master suddenly wrapped an arm around her. It didn’t look like she was about to be admonished - she hadn’t done anything wrong as far as she could tell - so why would Cana suddenly grab onto her like this?

She could only look at the redhead in surprise for the first two seconds, but then her usual scowl returned as she accusingly asked, “What, are you going to throw me into the Servant Burner at long last?”

For Cana, she had achieved the goals she set for herself: becoming an S-Class mage, and finally confessing her heritage to her father- so everything should be alright yeah? Well one thing that I had questions about is how her battle with Bluenote affected her- she suffered a pretty nasty injury, not to mention how he attempted to torture Fairy Glitter out of her and I just don’t believe she came out of that without at least having a few physical and mental scars and I’d like to explore that possibility?? Plus the way that she achieved S-Class was kinda cheapened with how Grimoire Heart kinda just swooped in and fucked the whole test up.

Nope, currently indie.

Have I mentioned how Cana is my precious trash child ahem, well I feel that I relate with Cana on a personal level, that and I admire her as an independent woman who resided in a fairly renown magical guild. I want for Cana to find closure- I want Cana to stumble around while trying to deal with her success and failure during the S-Class, for her to realize the lingering consequences of her actions she committed, and for her to try and deal with it. But more so, I want Cana to struggle with what she did and try to find herself- I want her to reach for a goal that’s possibly outside of her life with Fairy Tail.

So yeah, there’s that thing ;v;
