     A small gasp escapes her lips at suddenly being cradled by a strong arm and pulled in intimately close to this man she does not know. The sound of his voice is alluring enough and before she knows it, his lips are caressing the line of her jaw, every touch stealing more of her breath.

By the time he pulls away, there’s a haze veiling the green of her eyes, and as she looks into the skies of his gaze, Alice finds herself ensnared. Soft lips part as if she’s going to say something and while no words dare come out, she can’t help but inch closer.
