What type of clothes does your character like to wear?

overall, when we look at designs from the elibe era, they tend to be simple and straightforward- lining and embellishments are mostly lines, the occasional minimalistic flourish that you’d miss if you aren’t looking for it. they definitely don’t span across larger surfaces. material tends to look and act like common fabrics as opposed to fancy, elastic and/or thin ones like silk or the like, those seem to be reserved for nobility, and even then, it usually doesnt make up the entirety of a garment.
lycian clothing style spectrum runs from your average tunic (wil, erk, eliwood, you get the drill), shirts (lugh, roy, dart), and outliers like whatever the hell kind of shirt matthews wearing (seriously what IS that). there’s no real preference for symmetrical or asymmetrical designs, really. but everybody loves belts? theres usualy at least one belt, usually on the thicker side. dye doesnt seem to be a rarity, and mono-colored clothes seem to be the norm for lycia.
anyways, moving on to chad’s preferences.
chad likes his clothes plain, functional, pretty simple- no decoration or acessories, just what's necessary. as long as he doesn't stock out and has good mobility, he's fine. he also prefers clothes that are comfortable, warm and covering- the less exposed he feels, the better, even though his baggy pants do have a tendency to make him look smaller than he already is.
his cloak is also a matter of comfort, really- it's warm, for starters, and he's kind of sensitive to cold. this kids covered from neck to toe. he also likes retreating back into it- in the end, it's ultimately a mix between a blanket and a safe space where he can hide both trinkets and himself, to a degree.
