To be honest -Simon had imagined and expected his day's course quite differently in order to find himself in this current situation. The young android could have expected everything, but not that he was now in his own apartment with a completely strange man, who was now lying on his couch and resting, since he was still passed out. Here the young unit was now sitting in his chair near the couch, watching the dark-haired man, who looked just as young, out of caution that something might happen to him in his deep sleep, but perhaps more so as to review the past few hours again in order to be able to understand and realize what had happened in the first place. Simon knew these alleys, where he found the man and saved him, so to speak, it was one of the most peaceful corners of Detroit, with nothing more than small coffee shops, several independent shops in the hidden alleys, especially since it was always peaceful at lunchtime and the area hardly belonged to the city center. The blonde male had a day off from his hospital duties as he worked part-time in one or sometimes even several daycare centers and visited the area as on normal days, as this place was on his way home. The android left the café without realizing what had previously happened in the guest bathroom and how the whole story had just started that he couldn’t witness by his own. Simon didn't know exactly what it was at first, but could somehow sense that the atmosphere was changing, there was a certain tension in the air before he would hurry to the exit - and a few meters in the back alley of the café noticed this staggering man. He appeared to be quite disoriented before Simon noticed his face, which was covered with fresh scars near his temple, let alone the many other minor abrasions and injuries, before the two of them eventually bumped together when the stranger went towards the caretaker.
The PL600 showered the man in questions, what just happened, if he was doing alright as he tried to first hold on to him, thinking the human would stand by his own as it apparently was too late and the injured man would finally pass out and hit the pavement that was under his feet. In the exact same moment the android noticed a bunch of people leaving the café in a hurry, as the blonde turned to see their expressions, shocked, surprised. What in the world was going on in this local? And what had that man to do with this that he needed to leave in the back to get himself into safety now that he seemed to be in the middle of this whole scenario? But this didn’t matter, not right now. The panicked and equally shocked Simon contacted bypassing people of the alley to call the police department or the hospital so the unconscious man would get medical help as soon as possible. Simon, who joined the ambulance to stay with the darkhaired individual, obviously knew the doctors and surgeons in the hospital, as the injured stranger has been brought to the largest local medical center of Detroit, but he was not sent to the intensive care unit because The PL600 already informed them that his breath and general body function remained normal and received confirmation, after a very long treatment, that the man apparently suffered only from a slight but not fatal concussion and that he would wake up without great damage.
However, the explanation for why Simon took the man to his place was probably the result of his immense willingness to help, but also a little misunderstanding with the senior doctor when he asked if the stranger was a friend of Simon, whereupon the android first didn’t know an answer first and staggered a salad of random words due to the still deep shock settled in him, but also the concern about whether this stranger was fine since the domestic unit was the one who found and helped him. The thought didn't really deter Simon from keeping the other with him for some amount of time, maybe only until the human would feel better and recover quickly. The man from the café was covered with several clinical plasters, his laceration on the head was sewn and wrapped in a bandage, and small wounds on the lips were also treated. He was given a little amount of morphine to relieve the pain in his body, but Simon was still advised to have painkillers ready in his home, as the unconscious male would feel the pain of the little post operation on his head and his main injuries when he would finally wake up.
And here they were, several hours later after all the events, with a stranger on the android's couch, their bodies covered quite lovingly with a blanket from the bedroom when Simon could do nothing more than waiting ... and waiting. But finally, after what felt like an eternity, the man's body moved and the carer’s eyes turned almost reflexively to the person he saved today. Simon initially listened to the other's noises as it somewhat felt like aching breaths before the CyberLife creation remembered that he should follow the advice of the doctors and have the painkillers ready. The blonde moved away from his seat after he announced that he would get something against the pain of the strange human after the two had actually made eye contact, before the Android returned after a few minutes with a wooden breakfast board in his hand A large glass of water was presented on it, two half of a banana and two large, oval-shaped tablets, which Simon put down on the small glass table that stood in front of the couch. “Can you really crack jokes after everything that's happened to you?” the unit asked just as teasingly, relieved that the other was able to speak, move, and orient himself by his own and that the doctors seemed to be right about their diagnosis, as the PL600 would contact them later that the darkhaired male would be alright. “I can imagine that you are in great pain. I would advise you to eat and drink a little before you take the tablets ... they are quite strong.” the domestic carer gently and patiently instructed when he offered a first, rather shy smile to the other man before the blonde moved himself back a for some inches to return to his chair near the couch, but watched the stranger inevitably. “You were passed out at the coffee shop after we met, I think you can’t remember though, it was quite shocking to witness it nevertheless out of the sudden. My name is Simon, I’m a PL600 caretaker unit and I’m a nurse working at the hospital I’ve brought you to. I am... really relieved you are doing that good already, you really kept me busy with making me too worried about you.” added the kind-eyed creation to introduce himself, hoping the other would understand that Simon was dong more or less his job and duty to take care of those who needed it, that he had no sick intension to ‘kidnap’ wild strangers from the streets.
I hope they find the one who did this to you, you carried quite the damage away with you. I hope you don’t mind I changed your upper clothing, as your shirt is in my laundry now since it was stained with dirt and blood, you get it back once it’s clean and you can return back to the ... cold and wild outside world.” the blonde, bright-eyed CyberLife droid muses with a small smirk on his lips, curiousity sparkling in his eyes though the longer he eyed the man in front of him. “May I ask for your name? Perhaps as a first test you don’t suffer any kind of memory loss from your impact.”
