And Harry could tell it was now being weird between them. Why did he even suggest something like that? He should’ve known it would be stupid to ask her, he should’ve just kissed her. But now it was too late and he can’t take his said words back now. He just stared at her while she spoke, giving her a small awkward smile in return. 

“Yeah it’s probably better..” he said slowly before he realized what he said. “I mean, not you leaving but me. I will see you around.” he spoke, still seeming  like he was lost in his thoughts. He turned on his feet, starting to walk away and to the only place he could think of. Granny’s diner.

Adam was still looking at her, still wondering how he couldn’t hear you walking down the stairs. Not even standing next to her until he said something. He walked around her, sitting down beside her as he placed the book next to him and basically stared everywhere but not at her. He could tell that it wasn’t only the things about being royal now bothering her. No, she was doing good keeping up with them, even if it was hard for her. But he figured out there was something else that made her cry in the middle of the castle. “And besides that? Everything’s alright?” he questioned, still not looking at her. He knew how uncomfortable it could be to be stared at while not feeling great.

Harley stepped forard and grinned before grabbing the tie which was hanging around his neck. “Did you ever put a tie on yourself in your life?” she grinned before she started to wrap it around itself a couple times before it was perfecly made.

Harley shrugged her shoulders at his words. “I don’t know. I don’t know who trust when it comes to the Avengers.” she spoke. Seriously, ever since the assemble came after her and the Joker had left her alone once again, she was losing all hope in trusting anyone ever again. Now she was here, in some Shield facility or whatever they called himself. 

“There’s this man, pretty big guy coming for the world.” she started answering his question. “And he won’t stop until he got what he wants.” she grinned. She wasn’t afraid of this creature. No, she maybe started admiring him.

Josh only could roll his eyes, the older woman obviously caring too much for him. “Don’t worry, Miss, I can handle a black eye.” she spoke with a nod and a smile. But her words made him confused first before she cleared them up. “I am not stubborn. I’m probably the kindest guy you can meet around Minnesota.” he told her.

“I don’t care if ti looks good on me.” Harley made clear. Yes, pink suited her but that wasn’t the topic. “How many times do I need to tell you to wash it seperate?” she asked him. “I even offered you to wash it? Why do you still ignore me?”

“I feel truly lucky.” Peter said, a small hint of a grin in the corner of his lips. “And you feel lucky I’m still hanging out with you after you lfet me a couple times. Not good for a boy like me.” he told her.

Josh looked up into her eyes when she was on top of him, enjoying every single moment of it. “You know, right now I couldn’t care less about what my mates would think of those marks.” he said, swallowing hard at all the things that suddenly rushed through his mind. His hand moved up, tugging a strand of her hair behind her ear. “You know, we don’t have to live so many miles away..” he said slowly. Josh actually had played with the thought of maybe playing a season in New York. He always got offered a place but never wanted to leave his loved Minnesota. But maybe it was time for a change. 

“You only have to say one thing and I can be here every day you want me to be here...” he said slowly, hoping she understood what he meant.
