“No way. You’re off the clock. Tonight you’re going to relax.”
Derek stepped between Stiles and the kitchen before his fiancé could make it in there to start dinner. The past month since Rosie had come into their lives was showing on the younger man more than on Derek himself. Derek had grown more and more concerned seeing the way Stiles looked more and more exhausted from trying to do everything. Sure, most nights, Derek was the one to get up with the infant, and it was better since they’d moved to the house and she had her own room, but between the baby, school, and his “job”, it was taking its toll on the Spark.
“Dinner is already made. Or, well,” Derek shrugged. “It’s in the oven being kept warm. All your favorites from that diner you love back home. Lydia dropped by this afternoon and watched Rosie long enough for me to go grab it,” he explained.
