A frustrating moment?

Emily always gets frustrated when other guardians insist on killing Eliksni when sometimes it’s not even needed. Though for her it’s mostly internal and she keeps it to herself, but if someone is abusing or torturing an Eliksni just for the fun of it, she might just go off or even go as far as to kill the other guardian so the Eliksni can escape. Though this is a very rare case, she is still very willing to do it, even during the time where she knows the guardian can’t come back due to their missing light.

He’s just out for a rack of beer- light, he supposes, so he can watch the door better. He hopes Anthea has room in her refrigerator for a case. Between thinking about that, and the flat back end of his Glock 34 pushing up against the bottom of his stomach, the touristy-looking Marcus has dropped his close security, any subconscious thoughts of defense focused on avoiding Seb’s line of sight.

He doesn’t notice her, as he walks casually towards the store along the dimly-lit streets. A mistake.

Grant Self-Para || Truth

Characters --> Grant Phillips, Emily Phillips with mention of Tiffany Kody Location --> Grant and Emily’s Bedroom Time Frame --> 08/17/17; approx 10:30 pm Notes --> Grant tells Emily about his infidelity.

The reflection in the mirror was not one Grant recognized anymore. Time had changed him, and as he scrubbed a hand over his face he wasn’t sure if the reflection he saw was the same as Emily saw of him. Did his submissive still love him - regardless of his late work hours and his desire to go to clubs multiple times a week?

He moved into the bedroom where Emily was laying, propped up against the headboard in his favorite nightgown of hers. The red silk with black lace trim accentuated her best features and he couldn’t help the grin that formed onto his face at the sight of her.

“Gorgeous as ever, my love.”

Emily glanced up from her book with a smile. “Only the best for you.” She set her book aside and sat up, a hand moving to cup Grant’s cheek once he was seated near her. “Are you okay, sir? You’ve been quiet since we found out the gym was closing early last night. And you worked late gain...”

“I’m just fine.” Grant promised, leaning in to press a kiss to Emily’s lips. “I had to stay late to deal with a patient. An important patient at that. Emily, I have something to confess..” He paused to watch her curious expression for a moment. “I have not been entirely faithful to your throughout our years. The news of your infertility... it brought me to seek out other alternatives...”

Emily frowned at the words, but she nodded solemnly. “I’m well aware.” Her voice was soft, calmed than Grant had expected. “Sir, do you honestly think that the women you fooled around with didn’t reach out to me? I’m painfully aware of each one. When you start to work late - when you take off on the weekends to ‘exercise’ - I know that you aren’t spending all of that time just at the office or the gym. I... have thought a lot about it. I don’t like it... but I understand your desires to have a child, sir. The news of infertility was a blessing for me but a curse for you. I only have one question...”

Grant stared at his submissive in a shocked silence. Emily had known? His ex conquests had told her? Why hadn’t Emily told him she had known? He swallowed around a knot in his throat and nodded. “Of course, Em. Anything.”

“Who is the girl that has kept your attention for a few months now? Normally you only give four to six weeks to a girl and we are going onto week nine with not a word from her. I just want to know who she is. I promise not to confront her.”

“It’s Tiffany.” The gasp that tore from his submissive had Grant moving closer to wrap his arms around his submissive. “I have been breeding her regularly for the last eight weeks.”

Emily pressed into Grant, tears welling in her eyes. Normally Grant stayed to women their own age, but Tiffany was younger. Or at least she looked younger. “How long to you intend to.. to...”

“I’m not sure.” He whispered, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. “I enjoy it. Thus far, my attempts at impregnating her have failed. I intend to keep going at least until she is pregnant.”

“At least?” He could hear the pout in her voice. “Do.. do you care for her? More than the others...?”

“I...” Grant sighed. “I do. She’s a challenge - feisty. I’ve come to care a great deal about her.”

Emily nodded slowly. “Sir.. would it be okay if we switched gyms?”

There was a short chuckle from the Dominant. “Of course, Em. You won’t have to be around her anymore.”

“Thank you, sir.” She murmured, pressing a kiss to his neck. “And one last thing...?” At his hum of acknowledgment, she nipped at the same spot she had just kissed. “Breed me. Breed your girl as if you could actually impregnate me, please...”

“With pleasure.”

When Emily appeared at the door to his ‘apartment’, she wasn’t expecting him to be in this state. She’d been too stunned at the moment to really react when he pulled her inside. All she could do was squeak in surprise, pressed against his chest and blinking wildly. The warlock looked up at him, brushing some red hair out of her face. This was, from her experience, so out of character for him. It was odd, and she was suddenly worried.

“Gaz, are you alright? Is something wrong?”
