a  smug  grin  conquered  his  features  though  much  malicious  connotation  behind  the  smile  poisoned  the  intent.  noctis  stood  there  with  his  arms  crossed  over  his  chest  as  those  dark  ocean  blues  not  once  averted  from  the  other’s  face.  there  were  so  many  things  he  wanted  to  do  to  the  head  of  the  presidential  order,  but  he  decided  it  would  be  best  to  hold  back  his  tongue  and  refrain  from  any  unnecessary  conflict.

a  gloved  hand  maneuvered  itself  across  the  keypad  presented  by  the  vending  machine  he  was  currently  trying  to  get  a  bottled  drink  from.  it  didn’t  take  long  for  the  machine  to  register  his  input  and  deposit  the  bottled  carbonated  drink,  taking  a  hold  of  it  and  loosening  the  cap.

in  his  pride  and  joy,  regalia,  noctis  rolled  up  next  to  the  other  down  the  road  they  were  both  inhabiting,  granting  an  approved  nod  and  a  whistle  of  appreciation  towards  the  two-wheeler.  it  might  be  insane  to  the  public  eye  to  see  a  random  person  riding  on  the  wrong  side  of  the  road  just  to  compliment  another’s  ride,  but  that  was  completely  out  of  mind  for  the  young  prince  (  hence  the  amount  of  accidents  he’d  end  up  getting  in  ).

❛  ah,  excuse me.  i  didn’t  see  you  there.  ❜

the  sunset  casting  shadows  and  welcoming  the  night  made  it  difficult  to  see  where  he  was  placing  his  footing,  though  not  much  of  an  excuse  when  lamps  would  guide  a  fairly  good  amount.  still,  he  had  been  taking  a  stroll  around  an  area  where  not  many  people  would  dare  to  venture  on  their  own  during  nighttime  ;  it  triggered  a  surprised  reaction  from  the  young  man  to  encounter  another  soul  on  her  lonesome.
