Day 130

The other day I was at my cousin's house with my sister and her kids, and my cousin's five year old comes up to me and my sister and says:

"So, some families have two mommies and no daddies, and you're one of those families?"

And after my brain came back online from the second of residual terror at going "HOW DID THIS BABY CLOCK ME??"--my cousin is very supportive I'm just jumpy-- I realized what she meant and explained that no, this was my sister and her kids, and I was their aunt.

My sister thought it was the funniest thing ever and has proceeded to tell several people, (each time with me having my heart in my throat from residual 'dont talk about Stuff to people you're not out to' but everyone has just laughed and moved on )

Anyway, apparently yesterday she told my grandma, who I am not out to, (she's a wonderful person but 90s years old and I just don't want to have to deal with it) and my grandma's reaction was to laugh and laugh and then say:

"Ah yeah I know a lot about those people, those polygamists are sure something huh?"
