She’s used to being hit on -- not to come off as entirely pompous or conceited, she’s merely ...aware of her abilities. Sure, as any ‘pretty girl’ she utilizies her talents to another degree to get what she desires, however, Gracie is an extremely dedicated, hard worker. In fact, everything she owns is of her own volition, her own riches -- NOT her parents. And she very much prides herself on that. It’s not everyday you have an opportunity to make it on your own set apart from the ones who were supposed to love you most. But, it is Gracie’s lot in life. She’s not a cheerleader, she doesn’t have time for it - working full-time will do that, take from the ‘fun’ parts of being a 17-year-old and spiral you into adulthood. Yes, she’s a model-slash-actress-slash...whatever. But that doesn’t mean she is inherently daft, in fact, she’s one of the most intelligible people you will ever come across...which is why her expression rests upon partially offended and shocked when Nate Jacobs approaches her yet again.
“I’m too tired to be entirely snarky at the moment. -- What do you want, Nate?” exhaustion blooms from her tongue as she sighs exasperatedly, shutting the door to her locker and placing her full attention on the beautiful giant before her. -- He also knows what he’s got going for him. And she can read him like her favorite Joan Didion novel.
