“I’m just as confused as you are honestly.” He didn’t know why there was a sudden crowd and honestly he wanted to get home. He has someone babysitting his son and he’s almost running late with the time he told the babysitter he’d be returning. There was some event going on he’s guessing that he wasn’t informed up seeing how some people were dressed up and crowding the streets. “I’m guessing there’s some event or something going on today so that’s why there’s such a large crowd.”

“Hold still for a moment. There’s a leaf in your hair.” He walks over to them and gently removes the leaf from their hair. Honestly, with how windy it was today he wasn’t surprised someone would end up having a leaf in their hair. He thought of not telling the other about the leaf at first just for the laughs, but he decided to go against it. It wouldn’t had been nice and he was sure the other didn’t want to receive strange looks as well. “There it’s gone now. It was surprising seeing one decided to land on your hair.”

Hoseok was having a hard time at work, trying to keep his mood up and happy like usual becoming more difficult each day. His feet dragged against the concrete as he walked through the empty park so late in the evening. Hands shoved into his pockets before finding his way to a park bench.  He leaned against the seat, pulling his phone from his pocket and scrolling through his contacts and bringing up a new message.

“It sounds to me that you’ve been stressing out too much lately. All that stress is going to do no good for you and can harm your health too.” Stress was never a good thing anyways for anyone. But, everyone had their own ways of handling stress. Some choices were good ones while some weren’t. Then again, it all depended on what worked for the person. What worked for Haneul when he was stressed may not work for Johnny. It just depended on the person. “Usually when I’m stressed I go out for walks or runs while listening to some calming music or just go someplace peaceful. It helps clear my head out and I feel less stress than I was before. I heard that some teas help too reduce stress. I can make some if you want?”

solo + haneul 7/22/16

Mingyu tickled the underside of Haneul’s chin, smiling as the kitten stretched out over the windowsill. She was sleepy, he could tell, her eyelids falling every few seconds and darting back open before she could fall asleep. Sensing the kitten’s need to nap in a comfortable place, Mingyu picked her up, walking over to the bench in the tiny alcove on the left side of his bedroom. He settled against the pillows, placing Haneul on his lap, and grabbed one of the books he had left there earlier. Flipping to the page he had bookmarked, Mingyu held the book with one hand and ran the other over Haneul’s sleepy body. Her purrs made him smile as he lost himself in the literature, forgetting all the worries of his day.
