Violet excused herself as she stepped outside to answer the phone. She'd ignored her mother's calls for the last few days knowing it would entail the same topics as before. That she and Ellie were making a mistake, that they should return and stop chasing their father's memory. "Well, I'm kind of in a hurry so uh— Happy Mother's Day." she stated before hanging up, stepping back, and settling into the seat opposite Kaylin. "So where were we?" she smiled lightly.

Chloe had remained rooted in the same place for some time now and she was calculating when she should head home, or better yet who would take her home. Gaze shifted from familiar faces, friends, past hook-ups, and new people she'd never seen before. She smiled when noticing Kaylin approach though her expression made Chloe speak instantly, "Before you start, yes I'm having fun!" she held up her drink as proof.
