;loyalty, belonging, and morality

i think about mairwen's grey morality a lot. and how easy it is to push her to do downright evil acts. but only after gaining her loyalty. and she wants so desperately to belong that it's almost easy?

in theory. because while she'll put up with a lot of morally grey stuff, she does have limits.

and she doesn't accept a lot of abuse to herself. kill hundreds of people? ok cool. as long as you're not going to hurt her.

accept her, don't try to control her, don't hurt her, and be honest with her. the rest is window dressing.

betray her and she will destroy you.

Aichi couldn’t stop the small blush at that comment. "You know… when you put it that way…. it… almost does sound like we’re dating already…. doesn’t it….?" His eyes widened when he heard what he said and he bit his lip a bit. "W-Wow… I… uhm… f-feel free to uh.. i-ignore that Kai-kun… you know… if it.. makes you uncomfortable or.. anything…" He really hoped that comment didn’t upset the other. 

    "Are you against that...? Or shall we just say we're dating?" he asked, amused by the other's reactions. "Would you be against dating me, Aichi...?" With the smirk that played about his lips, was he teasing Aichi...? Or was he actually serious?

"K-Kai-kun!" He yelped a bit when Toshiki seemed to come out of nowhere like that. However he definitely didn’t argue. He’d been starting to get rather badly shaken at this point and Toshiki coming up behind him like that.. well it helped to know the other was there. 

     "If they keep bugging you I'll break their face." he stated calmly, a lot calmer than he felt.  He couldn't help it, he was growing more and more furious as he held Aichi. The gentle boy didn't deserve this crap.
