What's the worst encounter you've had as a hunter?
“Honestly... probably the worst is that vampire I ran into the other day. I wouldn’t go so far as to say I regret saving him, because I don’t. But.. there were a lot of aspects of that I don’t want to talk about.”

Curiosity was something Matthias cast out of himself many centuries ago, it was dangerous but there had been rumors of a woman who might have the abilities that could serve the blood demon some great benefits; so, despite his better judgement of curiosity and his dislike for even believing rumors Matthias went towards the location he was to find this witch. There wasn’t a lot of information on her but the tall man found the shop well enough, with a few stops for directions of course. But once he found it there was no mistake it belonged to someone of supernatural abilities, the place simply reeked with the aroma of witch. This scent was not something he was unfamiliar with, there had simply been an excessive amount of time between this encounter and the last time he had come across a witch. In the time Matthias had come into contact with a witch they were being burned at the stake and were in homage to his kind, but times had changed and he wasn’t sure how this woman would take to his sudden appearance nor his request.
Still, this did not stop him from entering the place, the smells of incense mixed with dried herbs met him upon his entrance. Hazel eyes scanned the store quickly, honing in on the bodies that occupied its space, it seemed the owner and woman he sensed was the witch, was busy tending to a few customers. So Matthias busied himself, or at least took on the air that he was busy and interested in the things around the shop; all the while he kept his gaze on the woman and her customers, taking a deep breath of the air just to get a better feel of her power and scent. The demon imagined her blood was delicious, he always did have a thing for subservient individuals. Waiting was no problem, not really, he could take this time to assess her better and the contents of her shop was good in telling more on that story as well. A grin pressed at his lips, shallow and almost hidden by the bookshelf he now scanned; it seemed she was a neutral-- how lovely. The thing Matthias needed from her would tip in the other direction and if there was anything he loved, it was corrupting things with darkness. If only to see them tip into madness. He didn’t have plans of making this woman fall into madness but whatever got the job done then he would take that route and not look back.
