;-- modern au where venti goes through the hanana montana treatment. he is a international singer with the alias of barbatos. but he is also just venti to the eyes of his friends and others. he doesn't want to be known as a celebrity in a day-to-day life which is why he remains anonymous when he goes about his days that doesn't involve him being barbatos.
but the double life can get super stressful for him which leads to him having several panic attacks. he takes 'meds' but they are not prescribed medication and that fucks him up a lot ( getting too high, near overdoses ). he also tends to have multiple one-night stands just to feel something.
he loves to sing, but he doesn't love the spotlight and unfortunately, he made the deal to become a celebrity because that was the only way that had people pay any attention to him. but he found out too late that too much attention just wasn't his thing.
and because he spirals, he doesn't want to let his friends know he is struggling and convince him that what he is doing is wrong ( though he really wishes they would so he can live a healthy lifestyle ).
