my favourite thing to think about is modern!shikamaru working at a rollerskate rink.

spraying deodourizer into the rollerskates.  "why do i work here?" he asks himself as he glides to the back to retrieve inlines for a group of teenage girls who laugh at how pissed off he always is.

trying to mess with the faulty popcorn machine at the snack bar.  "sorry just pick something else.  im not dealing with that right now.  the popcorn sucks anyways just get the twizzlers."

telling the kids "no, you need to have 500 tickets to get this prize.  thats 400 more than you have right now.  come back later when you dont suck at skiball."
