//rper appreciation post? kinda, if you wanna call it that. I felt like saying something nice? so posting this

just wanna toss it out there that I have a lot of respect for gabe rpers because the dude is imposing af but also caring and even nurturing? it's a hard balance (at least for me) to try to grapple with. on the same note about reaper but like.. he's obviously not a 1 dimensional villain (obv he's a multidimensional edgelord but hey nobody tell him that)

and hanzo and genji rpers bc what even are going on in these two's heads. I honestly love reading the differences each rper comes up with for what their muse's present is like, based off of their past and all the headcanons and interpretations and everything about them. I've tried to get into their heads to write as them but I feel like I'm better off being the cowboy who is smitten with them instead lol

there's like 1 pharah, a couple of widows and a mercy, ana, I've interacted with or talked with and they're great at understanding and bringing them to life too. I doubt I'll try to write as a female character myself (other than maybe as ana?) so I don't know their struggles but appreciated nontheless

I feel like I feel about jack/s76 the same way that mccree or rather specifically my muse does..? jack's not a hard man to understand but he's hard to impress and get to know.. probably why jesse is still trying to get on his good side..maybe.. he's not really trying v hard (any jacks/s76 out there wanna interact with my jess?)

also the OCs are cool too. kudos for tackling originality to add more color and depth to this already multifaceted world!

I feel like jesse mccree is probably one of the easier characters to write as? he's (relatively) straightforward and wears his emotions on his sleeve. not to say the man doesn't have layers upon layers to him and his character too but personally I find it much easier to get into his head than other muses that I've tried to write as. also not saying that to demean any other mccree rpers since I'm sure a lot of work went into fleshing him out too. either that or my preference of happier characters has made my muse almost too bubbly. maybe it's a good thing I stay off the..less prone-to-displaying-emotions characters then. like hanzo *coughs*
