Rumlow tugged Lou onto his lap as he sat down in the armchair. “So you decided to spend the day with me, huh? You know what today is..” A devious grin was stretched over his features. His hand slid up her thigh and under her skirt.
“I can’t let that go to waste.” He leaned in close to her and pressed his lips--with surprising gentleness--into the crook of her neck, giving it a teasing lick before his teeth bit down, intending to leave a mark on her there.

“If I kissed you will you shut up and get back to your job?” His question was rhetorical, more out of exasperation than anything else.
Wrapping an arm around her waist, he pulled her in close and planted a kiss right on her lips. Albeit there wasn’t much emotion behind it. “Go mend a broken heart or somethin’, I’m sure there are plenty of those around here, especially today.”

Rumlow’s face was lit up by an unusually smug smirk as he stepped up to the tied-up archer. Lifting a hand, he grasped his jaw tightly in a strong grip as he stared him down.
“You know what today is, don’t you? You wanna be a good boy and be Jack’s present?” He tilted his head towards a large box.. a box big enough to fit a human inside it. Although his words were in the form of a question, it was clear there is no choice for the archer to make.

So... I was thinking about this scene:

And, it occurred to me that Hydra is using magnetic cuffs and shock batons here. Non-lethal weapons.
They weren't planning to kill Steve. That is pretty obvious. But that means they were trying to capture him. And I was like, what was their plan here? What were they going to do if they successfully captured Steve?
And...you know what they did to the last super soldier they captured.
Can you imagine if they had succeeded?
