LOOK AT MY NEW BABY
Um Sheik? Aren't you scared Nocturne will try to steal Link..?
“—If he makes any serious attempt, he is a dead man, part of me or not.” The words were spoken quietly, but held a certain edge — one that promised a slow death to said dark being, should he make any attempt to steal the Hero from Sheik.
“Aw, someone’s no fun,” Nocturne drawled, shaking his head. “Come on, now, would it kill you to share?”
“I do not share. You should know that better than anyone.”
So Nocturne gonna make a move on Link or what~? Sheiks not trying to take advantage anytime soon >w>
“Mm, perhaps I will. I am sure the little Hero won’t mind — I mean, I am just another side of his dear Sheik, after all.” A quiet chuckle, eerily similar to Sheik’s and yet sounding just slightly off, fell from his lips. “Anyway, it could be fun.”
“—No. You’re not doing that. I do not care if it is effective or not, I will kill you. Or maybe I’ll draw it out— What do you think about that?”
Sheik’s anger was getting to him, making him not quite himself… When rage was in hold, Sheik wasn’t anything like he normally was; the anger would take over, make him someone else, almost. Someone more violent — sadistic, even, taking pleasure in hurting the ones that had caused him or his loved ones to hurt.
The pomegranate would like to point out that isn't necessarily true, Shiek could very well beat the living crap out of Nocturne, after all Link did it.
“Oh, but he can’t. He is weak, you see, and I know every move he will make before he even makes it.” A low chuckle escaped the dark being, eyes glinting maliciously. “Really, I don’t think he wants to kill me, despite what he says. I think he is aware what I say is true. I am the better half of him — I am stronger, and I haven’t failed. Not like he has.”
Sheik, how is Link in bed~?
“Oh, yes, Sheik, do tell. How is the lovely little Hero in bed, hmm?” An amused laugh pulled itself from Nocturne’s throat, crimson eyes glinting with amusement.
“I— would not know.” His voice was quiet, eyes narrowed in irritation.
Nocturne gave a quiet laugh, an eyebrow arched in amusement. “Oh? Haven’t made a move yet? Shame. Perhaps I should go introduce myself to this little Hero of yours.”
A quite mumble, then— “I swear you will die by my hand.”
“Sheik, I am you. You can’t kill me.” Nocturne sighed, shaking his head. “Honestly, it’s simple logic. As long as you are around, I am around.”
“I can still make you bleed, can’t I?” Sheik spat, hands curled into fists. He doubted he hated anyone as much as he hated his darker self at this moment — it was almost sad, really. Nocturne was part of him; he was what Sheik could become, wasn’t he…? Sheik essentially hated himself… That was pathetic, wasn’t it.
The pomegranate wishes to know why there are two Sheiks.
“This would be my… Ah, shadow, I suppose, brought to life by magic…” A pause, then— “He is my dark side.”
“Oh, so the pomegranate does talk. I thought Sheik was just going insane. I mean, it’s bound to happen sometime, right?”
