This was definitely awkward after Jane had left and came back...now the group was sitting around the campfire, laughing about this not so old story of them and drinking. It felt almost like the world was okay....still..it was awkward to even sit with the group when Luke was around. What must he think of her now? And why was it so improtant for her to know that...All she could do now was giving him a bit space...it was not okay of Jane to lie into his face and say she would go for supplies the next day with him when in her own head, she trembled and wanted to cry over the image...because it would mean that they will bond.As the night progressed however they came a little closer to each other...if closer meant Jane just switched places after Mike and Bonnie fell asleep and Luke was still awake. Not even once she dared to glance at him though they were sitting next to each other. Both had their eyes set on the flickering fire in front of them that kept the group warm in on this cold winterday. And while her mind should've been calm...it wasnt. What should I say? Is it okay to say anything at all right now after this "We had no time for kissing"comment of mine? Yeah..that was a pretty stupid thing to say if she thought about it again...Then,Jane finally took the chance and just tried to glance at him. For someone who was beaten down, had a fucked up leg and was probably starving..he looked pretty good...anyone would've said that..and heck,Bonnie even said it an hour or two ago...Her eyes looked down where she saw his hand, just like the rest of him it was bruised and scratched. However...the last time she felt his hand it was warm, soft and gentle...No..there was simply no way she could do that just now after leaving him...and her body already felt as if Jane would fall asleep any second. Her head was dizzy and almost fell on his shoulders if she didn't stop herself. With a deep red face she looked up and muttered a "Sorry"...but as she did she realize he had fallen asleep already..Perhaps it was not right of her, like many things she did, to just rest her head on his broad shoulders and close her eyes for a couple of seconds...Maybe there was a chance to talk to him tomorrow...maybe there was a chance for them to make up...
