“Someone stole my travel biscuits. Fess up before I start throwing stuff with my mind.”
The district seven floor was becoming far too confining. Axel was used to being able to go outside and explore. She loved to run and to climb, but now she was like a prisoner is a, frankly, beautiful cell. The closest the tributes could get was the garden at the top of the tribute tower. She wondered if it was true that it was jump proof. “The Capitol smells weird.” She noted to no one in particular. “Like fake air.”
When Pixel came to she was laying on the ground in the tower’s elevator. She rubbed her eyes slightly before pushing herself to a sitting position and leaning up against the wall. She couldn’t remember how she’d gotten there, but that wasn’t necessarily an uncommon occurrence. There was someone else in the elevator with her. “Who are you? What floor are we going to?”
The first time Jaime had done a five am shift, she’d nearly been asleep on her feet the whole time. Being hired as the lead baker for the Mariposa Cafe was more than she could have ever dreamed of and a nice second chance to have a fresh start in London. She had spent the last few weeks keeping her head down and adjusting to her new job without any real bothering to check out her neighborhood or the surrounding areas.
With a relaxing afternoon under her belt, Jaime decided to switch up her normal pattern and head down the street toward a local pub for some dinner. She was focused on following the directions she’d found to get there, and didn’t notice the other person walking until she’d already collided with them. Instantly a blush of shame crossed her cheeks as she looked apologetically at the other. “I’m terribly sorry! I didn’t see you there.”
“Hm?” Lily was pulled out of her reverie by a voice from behind her. “Oh yeah, I’m totally excited to visit Mum and Dad. See home, old friends, that whole bit, but my sister.... isn’t exactly the welcoming type? It’s not going to be very fun, if I’m being honest.” She sighed. “What about you? Are you excited to go home?”

"My subjective perception of musical quality is still developing but this is a pleasant collection of beats and vocals." Vivian concluded, before lifting the headphones from her ears. "Do you have anymore like it?"

“You like it? It’s a custom job.” Her glider, of course. Perfectly designed to adjust to her stance, reactive to her intentions, fully equipped. “Don’t touch those, she’s got some sharp edges.”

“Oh, god! Don’t touch that!” Harry half snapped half shrieked as she slapped the hand on her experiment away. She’d been tinkering with headphones over her ears when they’d walked in so she hadn’t realised that they were there until they were pawing her materials. “Don’t you watch movies, don’t touch shit in a lab without gloves and googles!”
