I’m not dead, I swear. Life’s just suddenly become very busy and what little time I spent home not sleeping, I spent on d*scord, while working on commissions to earn a little extra coin. I hope, I’ll find a moment of peace soon, to sit down on my drafts for a bit. In the meantime, you can hit me up via ask, or IM to ask for my d*scord handle, if you wanna chat with me.

don't you think you're idolizing Sebastian a lot? Your posts make it seem as if his absolutely perfect. But he definitely is flawed.

I’m honestly not sure, what kinda point you’re trying to make, nonny. So pls don’t be upset, if my reply isn’t what you expected. If you have further questions, of course feel free to contact me off anon. ^^

But, you see I know he’s flawed. He’s a written fictional character and if you don’t want you’re written characters to end up being one-dimensional and boring, you should always have a good balance between good traits and flaws.

But, I like this character. And that’s the point of this blog. Like, imagine you read a book, that’s just so good, in your opinion. Sure, there were some parts in the book that made you sad, or upset, or some characters, that weren’t 100% up your alley, but overall you really enjoyed reading it and still enjoy thinking about. And with the joy, comes the urge to share your joy. You want to tell your friends about this book and talk with them about, how much you liked it? Would you talk about the bad characters then? Or the parts, you didn’t feel as entertaining? Probably not. You will talk about your fave charas and the plot parts, that touched your heart the most.

And that’s my intention with this blog. I enjoy the character Sebastian Vael and I wish to share with people, why I enjoy him so much. Does that mean I idolize him? I don’t know. Does it matter, if I did? To be honest, I don’t think so. It’s a fictional character. This blog is a hobby. It’s not like, I’m trying to make people vote him to president, or something. I just wish to share with people, why I like this character so much. That’s all.

I know, it might be a foreign concept to people, who are so accustomed to the cringe-culture that seems to be all the rage here on tumblr, but I’ve always been heralding my fandom experience solely by the rule of “promote what you love, not what you hate”. If that’s not what you want out of a Sebastian Vael roleplay-blog, feel free to click unfollow. i don’t think, my blog will ever fulfill your wishes.

It feels, like I haven’t gotten to writing replies in ages. The time before and around Christmas is just always very stressful for me. And even today, I actually have a commission to finish. [I’m still accepting commissions btw] But I decided in-between working on my commissions today and other household obligation, I’ll occasionally sit down to answer asks or maybe work on some replies. With a little luck I can set up a queue again soon.

Every once in a while, I get the urge to draw pictures of my muses, that I could use for blog-icons. And it’s always when I got a shit-ton of other things to do. Like, prepare the soup for lunch, work on my commission, or actually answering some of my drafts.

But no, my monkey brain ignores all that and goes: Draw Dorian, so you have a self-made blog-icon for @vivere-mendacium. Anyways, I’m online. I’m not sure, if I’ll get to actually work on my drafts today. But if you wanna creep into my inbox and bother any of my multiple muses, feel free to do so. I’ll be online on all accounts today and I’ll answer as many asks, as I can get to. Might even throw in some drawn replies for extra goodies, here and there.

I should be working on commissions, but instead I got lost in the posts of my Shartan-muse and suddenly remembered what an absolute comedic gift his Chantry-shitpostings are. XD So, while I take a brief break from drawing, I’ll reblog some of those old posts for good old time’s sake and just because I got a good laugh out of them. So y’all might, too. ;)

My period started yesterday and with it came a massive circulatory drop, which makes it hard for me to stay awake and concentrated for longer periods of time today. I still have to work on commissions, later today, but right now I wanna write a bit, just to kind of get out of the slump. I’ll be over on @vnconcy and @vivere-mendacium offering banter starters.
