Mini-Hiatus?

So, obviously I’ve been pretty quiet on the online scene lately, and it’s because I’m in the last-minute stages of costuming for a competition next weekend and I set myself up for hard-mode.  I’m wiring 150 leds in wings, breastplate, involved headpiece and EL wire through a bodysuit that I’m sewing, with lots more armor.  It’s huge, and it’s eating any free-time I have (since I still work 40 hours a week).  I’m still going to be lurking, but I’ll be limited until July 10th.  Feel free to send memes or chat, I’m just not likely to get a lot of things posted, especially multi-para, which is pretty much all I do, it seems. tl;dr - Lurk Mode Activated until July 10th.

So, I poke my head back in here after the wonderful news that Daredevil’s been cancelled to find the site basically on fire.  I’m still around, just working 60ish hours a week, 6 days a week - to summarize, I’ve been exhausted.  I have a few shorter shifts this week and will definitely have normal weeks starting in January, so I can start thinking to the future, which...looks really weird rp-wise, given what’s going on. For anyone who is interested, I’ve been slowly putting together an RP site that is ready to go, it just needs writers to fill it with stories.  It’s not a massive replacement site for tumblr, but it can be a second home for people who aren’t sure about the state of this place, or who just want a change of scenery.  Send me a message if you’d like to talk about it, or even just have some questions. Otherwise, I’ll try to start doing some more stuff around here or just in general, assuming my work week doesn’t instantly shoot back up to 10 hour days. Always feel free to message me, because I do check in and things get pushed through to my phone. :)

[Thanks <3 a friend suggested aloe in the fridge (which sounds divine) for when i unwrap it. it’s obviously still super sore, but having it all wrapped up makes typing super hard. like, chat isn’t so bad, but actual responses are giving me a hard time. they’re either wrong or super slow, with way too much skin irritation. which probably means i’m not getting very far tonight, but i could have worse problems. i’ll be okay <3 ]

[thanks! plus side, my boss loves me more than she already did. she was panicking because the last time someone went to the doctor on worker’s comp, they got a note for a ridiculous 2 weeks off and she thought i’d come back with something crazy. doctor offered me tomorrow off, but i shrugged it off, so she was ecstatic to hear it.]
