Helmut’s Tools of the Trade
This is a list of the various weapons, gadgets, tools, and other paraphernalia that Helmut uses on a regular-to-semi-regular basis in combat. I will add to this list as I develop new ideas.
Joyeuse:
This is Helmut’s primary weapon. Named for the legendary sword wielded by Charlemagne, Joyeuse normally takes the form of a rapier with a blade length of 97cm and a hilt adorned with the House of Zemo crest. However, this weapon has an unstable structure and is able to alter its length, width, and density at the behest of the wielder. Helmut most often converts it into a short sword for closer combat encounters, a pike, and an extended whip. When tapping into the residual power of the Moonstone left within him, Helmut can superheat the blade, causing it to glow and increasing its cutting power.
Iscariot:
This crimson weapon is a repurposed and personally-customized version of the Satan’s Claw, a weapon once used by Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker before his death and Helmut’s hand. This clawed gauntlet is able to deliver powerful electrical shocks to anything it touches, as well as delivering a potent toxin into anyone unfortunate enough to be scratched by it. While it is more lightweight and compact than its original form, Iscariot is still rather bulky and is unlikely to be utilized by Helmut outside of ideal circumstances as it limits his primary advantage in speed and agility.
Nero:
Nero is a modified Magnum Desert Eagle, customized by Helmut with poached Vibranium to be durable enough to withstand the explosive force of its unique ammunition. Helmut will rarely load Nero with bullets made from pure Adamantium, causing Nero to be capable of piercing most conventional armor and even denting the shield of Captain America. These bullets are difficult to make and are rarely employed by Helmut. Additionally, charging Nero with the light energy left behind by the Moonstone can allow Helmut to use Nero to fire off concentrate beams of laser light for both lethal and non-lethal damage.
The Whippet:
The Whippet is a small robot that often takes on the form of a lithe dog, but can alter its form depending on the terrain. Helmut most often the Whippet for reconnaissance due to its small stature and quiet movements.
Jet Boots:
While unnamed, Helmut’s jet boots are integral to Helmut’s success in the field. Their powerful combustion abilities allow Helmut to extend his jumping ability, hover, and even fly shorter distances before they begin to overheat. Helmut can also use them to release powerful bursts of superheated energy with a flex of his foot while kicking.
