i don’t want to delete my blogs because i love writing and i love these characters but being on tumblr and honestly using a computer at all at this point causes me an inappropriate amount of anxiety. idk what to do. it makes me feel like a bad rp partner even when i have so many plots and ideas running around in my head.

Finally Back

Alright yall. I know it’s been a while, but I’m finally back, hopefully for good now. A mixture of school stress and a lack of functioning laptop made me lost a lot of drive for RP but didn’t take away any of the inspiration I had for Helmut. I’ve had a lot of time to let ideas stew and redevelop, so hopefully it’ll be enough to carry me through.

Let me reintroduce myself. My name is Tommy, I’m 23, and my pronouns are he/him. I’ve maintained a blog for Helmut in some capacity for several years but I’ve been sporadic in how often I’ve actually been directly involved with the RP community.

Over the coming days/weeks, I’ll be putting the blog under construction in order to create the scenario for Helmut that I really feel will suit my interpretation of him best. Additionally, I’ll probably post small tidbits of info about how things about my portrayal have changed since before my hiatus. However, if I feel the need to jump ship and completely create a new blog, I will post about it here repeatedly before deactivating the account.

consider the following:

Zemo restarting the Thunderbolts with all thatnleftover Hydra money as a PMC. Original roster comes back together to act as his lieutenants along with some newer faces to oversee some morally ambiguous missions like overthrowing dictators, taking down cartels, assassinating ‘corrupt’ politicians and aquiring their assets with the mantra of ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend if they have the resources we need’

Honesty this idea comes from rereading Fabian Niscieza’s original Thunderbolts run and Born Better (which I found in a used comic shop last week) and wondering how and why Zemo and the Thunderbolts’ entire core idea of ends justifiying the means and the moral quandaries that come with it was entirely erased to undo all of Helmut’s character development and reduce most of the Thunderbolts into D-lost jobbers.

Weird plot/whatever the fucks i have in my think thoughts right now:

1) Helmut with a protege. 

2) Helmut with a baby.

3) Helmut with a twin.

4) Helmut being a bitter, coffee addicted, and emotionally exhausted head of the zombie corpse of whatever he is rebuilding Hydra to be.

5) Helmut discreetly trying to make up for the wrong he has done to certain individuals (but not Clint Barton because Helmut says fuck that guy)

Well

Hey all. It’s been a while. How long, I don’t really know or want to check, honestly. There has been a lot that has happened since I last logged on. Some struggles with mental illness, the beginning and end of a relationship, issues with college, and a lot of thinking about what I really want to do with my life going forward. During that time, I removed myself from all social media. Skype, Tumblr, even Facebook and Instagram, so I coul get my head back on straight. Mel and Helmut of course took a back seat to those issues, and I feel like I’m finally ready to start reinstating myself into the social spaces that honestly used to cause me a lot of stress.

TLDR: I don’t know if I’ll be back here on a consistent basis, but I feel finally really ready again to start roleplaying once again. If you’re interested in maybe doing something again with me, drop me a line, and we can catch up or start something new.
