Send me ± for a headcanon about our characters
The first time Davey took Zinnia to a baseball field, they went to see a Yankee’s game. She didn’t understand any of it, which should be surprising since the sport had been around for all of her relatively long life, but Zinn had never been one very interesting in sports involving a ball. After Davey got passed teasing her for her lack of knowledge, he was actually a decent coach. By the end of the game, Zinn was cheering as loud as any life-long fan.
Send me ☼ for an AU I think our characters would be fun in
The dead are rising and the world is falling apart. Davey and Zinnia found each other by happenstance, both attempting to find shelter in an abandoned train car. Bonding instantly, the two worked well together. Davey fought up close, a baseball bat with barbed wire, and Zinnia from a distance, crossbow. Everything was great. They’d gotten an opportunity to join a community away from the bloodshed, but the leader there was Zinnia’s childhood friend who also happened to kill Davey’s sister at the beginning of the turning. Will they ever be able to find peace?
Send me ▒ for what sort of relationship they’d have if they were together
You know that couple that posts all the pictures of them working out together and is super annoying about it? That would be Davey and Zinn. I’m talking intense yoga poses, flex poses, sweaty snuggle pics even. They’d watch a million eighties movies and passionately argue about which one is better. Davey always choosing the sports dream, but Zinnia falling in love with the musicals every time. They’d bicker about where to eat every day, and eventually end up going to Cobalt’s to eat regardless because they both love going out far more than staying in.
Send me ♥ for how my character feels about yours
Zinnia has always found the humans fascinating, especially the ones who agreed to be players for whatever reason. It was no different when she met Davey. Well, that’s not entirely true. He was so full of hope and exuberance. He laughed so easily and loudly that it didn’t seem like he knew his life was on the line. Did he realize his life was on the line? The concern hit her like lightning. She didn’t know if it was because of her own precarious situation or a kindred naivety that brought out a protective spirit in her. All Zinnia knew was that she wanted to protect Davey as best she could for as long as she could, and she hasn’t come to regret that decision yet. Well, that’s not entirely true, either. She definitely regrets it on the morning after a big party, and she hears his incessant knocking on her door at sunrise.
