I’ve set aside some of the water samples to test bacteria growth and a few other conditions. However, I was able to analyze some basic results from the water. It’s hard to outright test for supernatural aspects to the water, and I found nothing to any of the samples, but I did try.
The water directly from the water tower, currently appears, to not have anything odd to it. No odd chemicals were detected or otherwise.
The water at the lake differed, but I haven’t been able to determine any specific aspects to it that may not have been existent before. As far as I can tell though, I’m not seeing anything that I’m immediately recognizing as new. At least nothing that I would categorize as overly important. The water has become more acidic though that’s likely due to the influx of creatures within the lake since my initial testing of the water over two decades ago.
The water at the river was... odd. There’s some chemicals within the water that I don’t recognize as naturally occurring within Gravity Falls. It’s not entirely foreign, but I’m not sure what some of this is doing within a river within this town, considering all the factors surrounding the river. I don’t know what, but there’s been a significant change in the river between now and before. It’s still rather unpredictable what may have caused this change though. None of the chemicals are directly poisonous or harmful to human beings though so there’s that at least.
They’re very strange, but I’m waiting for more results to try to determine possible origins at this moment. We may go further upstream to see if there’s anything new feeding into the river.
