Chuck found himself gawking at the bunny girl that occupied one side of the two basketball games. He really didn’t mean to stare, but she’d just made every single basket. He could only do that once in a blue moon. Maybe.
;-- in the very far future where humans and vastayans co-exist, xayah moves from her home in the forests to an apartment where she starts her new life trying to adjust to the human way of living. she has a job as a retail worker, struggles with people who have yet to accept her kind into their circle, and does singing gigs in the background at local clubs.
life isn’t that great for her until the day when some people look into her profile as a singer and recruit her into their own small garage band. some of those members are vastayan too while the others are humans, so everyone feels welcomed and loved in the group to which xayah digs. they all get along great and become inseparable.
xayah becomes the band’s lead female singer and together with the others, promotes their talent across social media platforms in order to get recognition. along the ride to the top, real life struggles such as alcohol and drug use, sex, relationship issues, and other crimes hit the group, and they all have to figure out how to overcome these obstacles and keep reaching their dream of becoming the next best rockstars.
Enjolras goes over to the couch where Grantaire is sitting and leans against it, behind his boyfriend. He presses a soft kiss to the other’s neck and ruffles his hair. “Well, hello there stranger.”
Enjolras kisses at Grantaire’s neck, pressing closer to his husband. There’s some vague throbbing in his head, having actually imbibed the night before. He ignores it, though, in favor of enjoying their new status. He reaches down between them, grabbing Grantaire’s left hand, and rubbing his ring. “I adore you.”
"-- we got married last night." The realization when he wakes up that morning is beautiful, and R wraps his husband up tightly in his arms, trying to wake him with a multitude of kisses.
Enjolras wakes up slowly, a warm happiness bubbling within him as he registers Grantaire’s words. They’re married, he has a husband. A husband who was currently kissing him and holding him close. He smiles widely and opens his eyes, giggling almost wildly. “You’re my husband.”
