It was just another quick search around the outskirts of Edge. This was standard for the Turks, always trying to keep monsters out of the city, especially after the Geostigma Incident. However, it was rare that they found anything of note, aside from a monster or two that they quickly dealt with or chased off. Today, however, was different.
Reno and Rude had been making their rounds around the outskirts of the city, not really taking this too seriously... until Rude pointed out a collapsed figure surrounded by a few monsters. The two ran in, quickly dispatching the monsters before turning their attention to the collapsed person. Thinking quickly, Rude pulled a potion from his coat. Scooping up the person, he went to give her the potion, but he quickly noticed something... strange.
As he brought the bottle up to her lips, he noticed a set of fangs. These didn’t look like implants, let alone cheap Halloween teeth... they looked real. He even tested them out, scraping his finger on one. It was sharp, that was for sure. Laying her back down, he corked the potion, feeling that it wasn’t a good idea. After a bit of discussion, the two Turks decided that it was a better idea to take her to Rufus.
Picking her up, Rude made his way back into town with Reno following behind. They called Rufus, asking him to meet up with them as they made their way to an inn. Dropping her off in a room, and even paying for the night, the two left once Rufus had made it. As the Turks left, the ex-President made his way upstairs, heading into her room to wait for her to wake up.
