Taking a bite of his dinner, Satoshi sighed. He was grateful that his aunt was in town, but... He wished his mother was home. Oh well. 

“She met a guy. He saved me and pulled me out from getting hit by a car. They exchanged numbers. It was weird.”

Taking a sip of her drink, Ryuko blinked once. And then twice. And then three times. Uh...? Why did Satsuki have to be at work? Now she had questions. What the fuck, sis... 

“I’m more concerned that you almost got hit by a car or that you trusted this dude not to kidnap ya. But, uhhhh...  Ya sure? Your mother, my sister, was attracted to this man?”

“I dunno!!!! She’s never been attracted to anyone! I think? It was WEIRD!!!”

“Just like that...?”

“Mhmm. It was so sudden and shocking. None of us knew where they came from or why. And at the head of the pack was, well... I thought she was dead.”

“My mother must be there too. Somewhere. I have to go get here and-”

“WE have to go get her, Toshi. I’m not letting you do this alone.” Ryuko smiled, holding out her hand for her nephew to take. “Come now.”

@dragoon-knight Ryuko cracks her knuckles, getting to work. Some how the one child she had borne was coming back to haunt her dreams. But she pushed that aside. There was zero potential in her. None at all...and the accident had taken its course.
