it was only once her decision was final that eunae started to tell people about her participation in the royal survival show. she doesn't often ask advice when it comes to very personal life choices because she hates being told that she should or shouldn't do something. it's her life, her decisions and no one is in a better position than herself to choose what's best for her. anyway, eunae is so impulsive that she rarely has time to even ask for second opinions.
while she didn't think her choice would be met with open arms, she didn't expect such a cold response from her kt colleagues. the young woman is taken aback by the lack of enthusiasm. soon, it feels like she's the only one daring enough to sign up for the show. it's true that the final prize, should she even get there, is a contract with royal. eunae doesn't think as far, however. she sees it as yet another opportunity to grow.
she hasn't told soyeon yet, not because she's scared of her reaction but just because the timing wasn't right until now. they meet up after the day's schedules, hanging out in an empty practice room. she wonders how the younger will react, but it only lasts a split second. the thought of what's to come never crosses her mind. "hey, you know that royal thing?" eunae says, leaning against the mirrored wall. she glances at her friend casually, as if she's about to talk about the weather. "i signed up for it."
