Jinki rested his cheek on his palm, his eyes scanning the menu idly as he tried to figure out what he wanted to eat. He wasn’t really that hungry, but he wanted to get out of his apartment for a bit. It was far too lonely and empty, and Jinki didn’t enjoy being alone with nothing but his own thoughts. He sighed and closed the menu, resting it against the table as he sat up and looked around the restaurant. It was small and there were only a few people there, that was why Jinki liked this place really. As he eyed the area, his eyes landed on a young man at a booth across the way from him.
His smile was big and happy, nose wrinkled and scrunching up slightly from just how big his smile was. His dark brown hair was swept back underneath a wide rim hat, but Jinki’s eyes were on his stomach. His shirt was pushed up to show his toned stomach and he was obviously joking around with his friends, but he couldn’t stop staring. It was a goofy yet beautiful sight and Jinki was desperate to see more of it. But before he could, he pushed his shirt down and his friends stood, all of them making their way to the door. Jinki swallowed and stood up quickly, watching as they made their way closer and closer to him. When they were only a few feet away from them, Jinki cleared his throat and walked over, putting on a bright smile and holding out his hand.
“Hello, I’m Jinki.” The man in the hat blinked in confusion before returning the smile and shaking his hand.
“Jonghyun.”
The floor creaked quietly as the heavy boots pressed against them, the footsteps slow and steady as he held the bags of food in his arms. He held his key between his teeth and hummed a happy tune to himself as he walked down the hall, eyes scanning the numbers on the doors until he finally saw his own. He carefully sat the bags down on the floor and dropped the key into his palm, catching it quickly before jamming it into his lock. He turned the key until the it unlocked and the door opened slightly. Before he could grab his things and walk inside, he felt a small tap on his shoulder that caused him to jump and turn around quickly. He sighed when he saw that it was only his neighbor staring up at him, he put on a small smile and gave her a gentle wave.
“Hello, Joohyun.”
“Hi, Jinki,” she said with a bright smile, “I was just coming to check up on you, I haven’t seen you in such a long time. You didn’t even come to the picnic that was held for all of the tenants.” Her voice was laced with concern and her big brown eyes stared up at him worriedly. Joohyun was a nice young woman, just a year younger than him and quite the beauty. Jinki had no interest in her, though, no interest to be her friend or to even be her acquaintance.
“I’m a..secular person, thank you.” Crouching down slightly, he gathered up the bags of food again and carried them into his small apartment, kicking the door closed behind him. Joohyun blinked softly when the door slammed shut in her face, a small frown coming to her red lips. There was something weird about Lee Jinki and she was going to find out exactly what it was.
“Sweetheart! I bought us a lot of goodies, I’m gonna make us a nice Italian meal tonight!” he called out, walking into the kitchen and setting the bags down onto the counter. He took out his phone and mounted it to the speakers, smiling to himself as an upbeat song began to play. Humming along, he began to take the contents out of the bag and danced a little in the kitchen. With a pep in his step, he took out a few pots and pans, filling a pot with water. He turned on the stove and sat the pot atop the burner, adding some salt to the water and letting it boil.
“My love, would you like to dance? I know how much you adore this song,” he called out as he made his way to the single bedroom in the apartment. When he neared the door, he heard stifled laughter coming from inside and his curiosity spiked. He opened the door slowly and peeked inside, laughing softly at the sight. There sat his gorgeous boyfriend, brown skin glowing just as brightly as his smile. The tight jeans showed off his skinny and short legs the way Jinki always liked, but best of all was the black cut off top he was wearing. Giving him a delicious glimpse of his sculpted abdomen, the top stopped a little above his belly button, only raised up so high because of his strong chest.
“I knew you’d like it. Do you like it?” he asked, his brown puppy eyes staring up at him, desperate for approval. Jinki smiled and walked into the bedroom, taking another look at his boyfriend before leaning down and pressing a kiss to his cold forehead.
“I love it, Jonghyun. I love anything you wear,” he said softly, smiling at Jonghyun’s happy grin. Jinki grabbed the handlebars of Jonghyun’s wheelchair and wheeled him out of the bedroom, smiling as he started to hum along to the music that was playing. They both loved this song, it reminded them of how they got together.
“You can’t drown me out! Everyone will hear!” Jonghyun shouted, trying to be heard over the loud music. Jinki simply smiled and turned the song up even high until they could feel the vibrations and beats pulsing through their bodies. Jonghyun stared at Jinki, his big brown eyes filled with fear that only excited Jinki even more. There was something about the sight of such cute puppy eyes filled with something so feral, so natural such as fear and wanting to escape.
Jonghyun’s eyes scanned the apartment, looking for something he could possibly grab to hit Jinki with or someway he could escape. He decided to go the easiest route - the door - after all, he was pretty buff, he could probably shove Jinki away if he tried to grab him. Jonghyun bolted towards the door, grabbing the knob and jerking on it roughly until Jinki grabbed him and pulled him away.
“Get off!” he screamed, trying to fight the older man off but finding that it was harder than he thought it would be. Jinki wrapped two strong arms around Jonghyun’s middle, slipping his hands underneath his skirt and stroking at his toned abs. Oh, he felt as beautiful as he looked. All of his fantasies were right, Jonghyun was as soft as the puppy he looked like. The younger man continued to scream and squirm in Jinki’s arms, desperate to get away even as he was dragged to the bedroom.
“I want to dance,” Jonghyun requested, looking up at Jinki, “Dance with me.” Jinki smiled and stopped his chair, moving to the front of him. He wrapped his arms around Jonghyun’s middle, small jolts of excitement and pure bliss jumping through his skin when his arms made contact with the cold skin of his waist. He held the younger male close to him and smiled as Jonghyun’s arms wrapped around his neck. Jinki did a simple two-step, the two of them smiling brightly at each other and twirling around the living room as the music played loudly.
In her own apartment, Joohyun stood at her large window with binoculars and stared into Jinki’s window. She couldn’t make out much of what was happening, but it looked like he was dancing with some kind of lifeless doll. Maybe it was a blow-up doll? That could explain how...odd he was, that he was just in love with some kind of sex toy. She pursed her lips together lightly and lowered her binoculars, her nosy nature was not letting her accept that reasoning. Even though she couldn’t see much, that doll seemed rather lifelike. She was going to see for herself.
Back in his apartment, Jinki smiled to himself as he and Jonghyun danced mindlessly. It was such a nice feeling, Jonghyun’s cool skin against his warm skin, his limp body relying on his strong body, Jinki’s beating heart against Jonghyun’s...They complimented each other wonderfully and it made Jinki’s heart swell.
Jonghyun watched as Jinki carefully guided a pair of scissors around his shirt, cutting the bottom off so his abdomen was visible. Jinki seemed to have an obsession with his skin - he always kissed it, licked it, nibbled it, came on it, the tan coloring clearly excited him and Jonghyun wasn’t sure what to feel about that. Not that he had much choice, he could barely breathe now - and Jinki saw that.
“Jonghyun-ah~” Jinki said, smiling up at him as he played with the piece of fabric he cut off from the shirt, “Aren’t you going to thank me? You look so nice in cut off shirts, I decided to make you one!” Jinki stared at Jonghyun, watching the big puppy eyes that were once filled with so much life and sparkle now grow dull and lifeless. He was so close to finally being his, Jinki could just taste it. He stood up from the bed and walked over to the bedside table, taking out a small packet and tearing the top off. He poured the contents into the cup of water, looking over when he heard Jonghyun’s soft sobs.
“Why...” he croaked out, looking over at Jinki, “why are you doing this? Please, let me go home. I won’t tell anyone, I promise...” Jinki blinked slowly before smiling brightly, his eyes disappearing into happy crescents that sent chills down Jonghyun’s smile. He climbed onto the bed and grabbed Jonghyun’s chin roughly, pressing the cup to his lips and forcing him to drink all of the water.
“Because, I want you to be mine. Forever.” Once the cup was empty, Jinki watched as the water dribbled down Jonghyun’s chin and as the life finally left his eyes. His body went limp and his chest finally stopped moving, his body only staying up due to his arms being handcuffed above him. Jinki smiled softly and stroked his cheek gently, his heart beating hard when he saw a glint in Jonghyun’s eyes that was never there before. He could see it, he loved him now. He was his.
“Oh! I forgot something in the car!” Jinki said suddenly, stopping their dancing. He gently sat Jonghyun back in his chair and moved him to sit at the table, his back facing the door. He leaned down and kissed his head softly, mumbling that he would be back soon before rushing out of the apartment.
“Jinki...?” Joohyun said softly, knocking on the door. She rested her hand on the knob and jiggled it slightly, blinking when she realized the door was unlocked. She pushed it open and made her way inside, looking around. It was the first time she had been in his apartment and it seemed rather normal, aside from the loud music playing and the food cooking on the stove. She pursed her lips together slightly, walking in further and stopping when she saw someone sitting at the dining table. It couldn’t have been Jinki, and she didn’t remember anything about someone living with him.
“Excuse me...?” she said softly, walking closer to the person. An eerie feeling washed over her as she approached them, wondering why they hadn’t moved an inch since she walked in. She raised a trembling hand, reaching over to tap their shoulder and gasping softly when their head fell to the side. Joohyun swallowed hard and slowly walked around to their front, eyes closing against her own will. When she was sure she was facing them, she clenched her fists until her nails dug into her palms and opened her eyes slowly. The sight of the person sent chills down her spine and she screamed, jumping back and falling over a chair in her haste to get away from him - from it. There sat a rotting corpse with it’s eyes pinned open to show it’s big, lifeless eyes; its mouth was held back by hooks to make it smile a giant, eerie grin, and its skin, oh its skin, dropping from its face in small chunks and revealings bits and bits of its skull.
Joohyun scrambled to get up and eventually found her footing, jumping up from the floor and running towards the door. She bumped into something and yelped softly, looking up to see what it was. Her blood ran cold and her body grew tense at the sight of Jinki staring down at her with dark eyes. Joohyun swallowed hard and backed up slowly, Jinki following her with eyes deader than the corpse.
“I-I promise, I won’t tell anyone!” she said, holding her hands up as she pleaded. Jinki stared at her before smiling slowly, causing a wave of relief to wash over her. He moved his hands up to cup her face gently, stroking her smooth and soft skin before quickly turning her head and snapping her neck. As her limp body fell to the floor, he stepped over her and walked over to Jonghyun, kneeling down next to him.
“My love, are you okay?” he asked, rubbing his knee.
“Of course, I’m always fine with you.” Jinki smiled and stood, pressing a kiss to Jonghyun’s forehead again. He looked down at him and smiled at the sight - his big brown eyes and a big smile to match, rotting skin to reveal his lovely ivory skull, Jonghyun was always a beautiful person. And now he was his, his forever.
