Do you think there are any abba songs Hyde likes? Iv seen a lot of people talk about what zeppelin songs Jackie would be more okay with but never what Hyde could be fine with XD or what fleat woodmac songs he’d put up with?

No, I don't imagine there's a single ABBA song Hyde likes lol. Disco/Pop is so far removed from his personal tastes as far as genres go, and I imagine he would find the melodrama of the majority of ABBA's lyrics grating. At most, he would only ever tolerate listening to it to be fair to Jackie if it was her turn to pick the tunes.

I don't imagine Hyde as disliking Fleetwood Mac. I don't think they're a band that he would actively listen to, given that they're more soft, folk rock than not, but I don't think he'd find them horrible or anything. After all, Lindsey Buckingham is still a very impressive and skilled guitar player, and I think Hyde would be objective enough to acknowledge that.

I don't know that he'd like any particular song, but rather parts of songs that feature Lindsey's guitar playing. If I had to pick one song he might like by them, I'd probably pick "Never Going Back Again", both for the lyrics and the guitar playing.

He'd probably like "The Chain" as well, but I feel like almost everyone with functioning ears likes "The Chain", you know what I mean?

That's just my thoughts though!

I saw some of your post about if Hyde went back in time and I know you said he probably wouldn’t try to get together with Jackie early as he’s worried it would changed the future BUT I think it would be so fun and silly if like he would get really jealous or over protective of her :3 everyone would be so confused and he’d just try to play it off like nothing happened.

We also know that Hyde’s love language was physical touch so I think at some points he would forget there not together yet and he’d stand super close or he would like place his hand on her back to guider places. It could be so silly lol

I do think Hyde would be protective of her if he was sent back in time. Being protective of others is simply in his nature, so the fact that his feelings for her would have developed into romantic ones would only amplify this. He would likely still just cover his ass by leaning into his Zen and punching Kelso a lot more (like he does in early S5), though. Unless Jackie was really paying attention to him, she might not even notice a difference.

You're also right that he might feel more comfortable touching her or being close to her -- or at least have to work on breaking some habits -- which might lead to her noticing him and subtle changes in his behavior.

As for the jealousy aspect, I'm not sure I'd see it as silly. Feelings of jealousy and insecurity in a relationship rarely lead to romantic outcomes. I understand there's an appeal in the fantasy of fiction for some, but they're not feelings I would interpret in a positive light were I writing them. Likewise, I think Hyde being forced to watch Jackie be with Kelso while he's in love with her (for a second time) would do more harm than good.

Those are some of my thoughts though!

If for Halloween Jackie went as someone out blonde hair (causing her to wear a blonde wing) do you think Hyde would like it? I feel like Jackie could of pulled off blonde hair

Hi Anon!

I don't think Hyde would think deeply about it one way or the other, to be honest. If it was a fun or sexy costume, he'd like it because it was fun or sexy in a general sense. If it was a lame costume, he'd think it was lame. Whether or not Jackie wore a blonde wig wouldn't really make much of a difference to him.

Although Hyde seems to find blondes aesthetically appealing in the show (e.g. opting for Mary over Patty initially in 2x09), I don't think Jackie's hair color plays a defining factor in his attraction towards her. After all, Hyde also comments about his attraction towards big breasts and older girls, neither of which apply to Jackie.

Hyde likes Jackie, therefore Hyde likes the hair that is on Jackie's head, if that makes sense.

Respectfully, I disagree with the suggestion that Jackie could pull off blonde hair. Not that she'd look terrible (she could never look terrible), but Jackie has very, very dark brown hair. The process of lifting her hair several shades up to blonde would be arduous at best, risky at worst. While I am not a hairstylist, I worked as a hairstylist's assistant years ago and I'm also someone who has had blonde hair for the majority of my life.

The effort to treat her hair (especially back in the 70s and 80s) to maintain it blonde would likely result in it getting fried to some degree. There are also many opportunities for things to go awry during the color treating processes, even in the hands of professionals. I'm talking orange hair, highlighter yellow roots, green hair, etc.

This is all not accounting for her eyebrows, which would remain dark unless she bleached those too.

Ultimately, I think with Jackie's skin tone and eyes, she looks much better as a brunette with nearly black hair. And I think Hyde would be happy with how she looked even if she never bleached or color treated her hair -- but let's be real, it's unlikely she'd ever allow greys to remain unaddressed.
