If you’re an elf and you don’t have a knife, Sive will make you a knife. No elf should be defenseless.
Entirely possible that in a multi-warden scenario that Sive's magic is discovered while imprisoned in Fort Drakon where she just starts making a knife out of her own melted manacles.
I forgot that the elven girl that Vauhgn killed a few months before the start of origins(and thus the city elf origin) is the Blacksmith's daughter. Sive's teacher's girl and probably a girl who Sive knew and cared about. She has even more reasons to burn that fucker alive.
Sive is the type of apostate that, to her detriment potentially, really isn't afraid of Templars once she becomes a warden, because at the end of the day they're all just humans in tin cans and just as stabbable as anyone else.
Sive has magic, Sive is an apostate but she wouldn’t call herself a mage due to her understanding that Mages trained and proper, come from Circles. Her relationship with the circles as a concept is complicated by the fact that she was both a late bloomer(likely due to chronic malnutrition) and how fiercely family oriented she is. The very idea of being taken from her family to be locked in a prison with a bunch of humans isn’t her worst nightmare but it’s fairly up there.
That being said, the Denerim city elves are very insular, very protective of their own, even those who might have suspected Sive’s ‘oddity’ like the blacksmith she apprenticed under didn’t press on it because she’s a Tabris. Sive is Adaia’s Girl, she’s one of Cyrion’s brood, while they might not fight directly the alienage does what they can for their own. I wouldn’t be surprised if some arranged marriages conveniently moving certain elves to smaller cities and villages hid many such mages.
I think it would be really funny for Ohgren to just never figure out that Sive’s a mage. Like maybe smiths up on the surface can just Do That. He doesn’t know.
Sive is a Big Shirt No Pants sleeper and has fought Darkspawn in nothing but a shirt before because of this habit. She refuses to sleep in armor, it’s goddamn uncomfortable. If someone wants to stab her in her sleep they have to get through the Giant Dog sleeping on top of her first.
Birdie is more likely to just take the place of their loved one if a sacrifice has to be made.
Sive would sacrifice individuals for those she loves but not the world for her loved ones because what the point of saving them if there's nothing left for them.
Cosima would damn the world herself if someone who has managed to worm their way into her rotten heart needed it.
