lost duckling * angel & minzy

                                                            about a year ago..

          it was her third day of being in south korea, everything that stood in front of her was beyond unfamiliar to her senses. angel lee found it difficult to stroll around the streets, signs in hangul everywhere instead of russian or english. it wasn’t at the fact that she wasn’t able to read hangul because she could understand it fine, decent enough to keep her not lost in the middle of a dark alley or in the middle of nowhere but russian and engilsh were her primary languages back in kazakhstan. though, her hangul was a bit rusty as she rarely spoke it at home and there was no one to speak it to. her step mother and sisters were kazakhstani and the only time she ever spoke hangul was when her family called her on skype which was very rare.

          she released a distressed sigh from her pink lips after reading a sign. how would she get home now? nobody really spoke english here. plus, wouldn’t it have been really weird if she were to ask a random stranger in the first place? ( um yeah! ) looks liked she had to keep strolling to find the bus station until then. she cursed in russian, “это пиздец!” [this is fucked up!] until, she passed by a girl that was speaking in english.

          her eyes widened, she turned back to make sure she would catch the girl and she didn’t lose her. “excuse me, but do you speak english?” what a strange way to approach the other, but it was better than nothing anyways—right? hearing her british accent come out was unusual too ( even if it had only been a week.. )
