white day is a holiday that krystal rarely celebrates just because she’s never had the right timing for it. saturdays and sundays are days when she either works or studies her ass off at school. but, with her agenda planned out for the week, it’s hard to squeeze in a bit of time for anyone she’s close to. nothing’s changed much about her being a busy bee all the time. nevertheless, she can’t use this as an excuse to isolate herself from people because white day only comes every now and then.

“minhee unnie, are you excited to see all the different kinds of chocolate?” she’d prefer the european chocolate she enjoyed growing up with but trying out different things isn’t too bad. just, she’s picky about her food and the kinds of desserts she eats. she prefers french pastries over korean pastries, just the taste of it seemed unfamiliar and peculiar to her taste buds.

but if it’s chocolate, krystal is willing to go out of her comfort zone. anything for her love of chocolate. however, she can’t eat too much as she’s on her trainee diet ( like most trainees are generally nowadays ).

Be My Happiness || Minji & Jiyong

It took some time but by mid afternoon, Jiyong had managed to cover every surface of the apartment with flowers. He couldn't boast to having gotten her all red roses (waaay too expensive) but there was a fair amount of them, just also with some pinks and whites and yellows, some tulips and baby's breath, and sunflowers, and daffodiles and all kinds he could afford. It was a lot and completely over the top, but he had a question to ask and he really, really didn't want her to say no. He wanted her to be absolutely unable to refuse because, god, he didn't know what he would do if she did.

No candles, since he had a fear of setting the flowers on fire, but dim lighting and soft music played in the background. He knew when she was supposed to arrive back home, so he waited, playing on his phone a little bit, until he heard her key scratching the lock so he stood in the center of the room. When she opened the door, he smiled at her expression. "Hi," his smile widened, happy that his voice didn't sound nearly as nervous as his stomach felt. "So before you say anything, let me explain. We didn't get to go to high school together. We didn't get to attend any proms or dances together, so I've never really seen you do any formal dancing and.... and I'd really like to. There's a masquerade thing happening tomorrow night and I want you to come with me. As my date." He picked up one of the red roses and stepped towards her, offering it. "Please say yes?"

When Jiyong walked into Minji's bedroom New Years Eve at her beckoning, he smiled widely instantly. She'd been texting him all day, wanting to show him the perfect dress she'd gotten for the party tonight, and he had to admit, he was just as excited to see it. His eyes lit up when she held it up for him, "oohing" and "ahhing" at the design and the color. A nice dark red, very form fitting, and short. He liked short.

He took it from her and held it up against her body, chuckling about how many guys he would need to beat up to keep away from her. No one else would be allowed to touch her, only him; he needed to make that a rule. She was going to be such a firecracker tonight, he could tell, already excited about drinking and laughing with friends and hanging out. Jiyong was going to introduce her to a couple of different drinks, things he knew she would enjoy based on what he already knew about her tastes and preferences.

And then at midnight... he was going to kiss her. First kisses should be special like that right?

There was something missing from the dress though, he knew, but he wasn't sure for a few moments until he asked, "Hey um... have you ever considered dying your hair? I'd bet it'd look amazing in red." He wiggled his eyebrows at her and laughed, taking a few more tries before convincing her to just /try/ it, at least for this one night. She came along with him to the store and picked out the perfect shade for him to buy (a new years present).

It only took about an hour to apply the hair color in her bathroom, him standing behind her while she sat in front of the mirror, running his fingers through her hair. He finally understood what his mother liked so much about doing this, it was rather relaxing. Not to mention funny, because Minji was funny and silly and cute and got dye on his cheek by poking him (which he got her back for by getting it all over her ear, which made her squeak and freak out). Afterwards, when she came out of the shower, having washed it her hair appropriately, Jiyong helped her brush it and blow-dry it.

It looked fantastic. "You could be a model," he grinned. Or the main character of his wet dream tonight.

jaebum’s passion has always been singing.

ever since he was a little boy back in the tropical sun of honolulu, he’s been humming rhythms, developing his skills as a vocal entertainer as soon as he could speak. he remembers performing for his mother in their quaint island cottage’s living room -- the proud smile on her face egged him on, kept his momentum going, and has been the main motivation for his continuation of the pursuit of stardom from his voice.

he wants to be able to evoke emotions into other people merely from his vocal ability, and in his humble opinion, he’s getting there, as he definitely has made an impact on others from his voice.

he’s extremely thankful that he can share his experience as a singer unto others now as well, being one of the newer teachers at a private vocal tutor in hongdae, right near nova -- convenience and whatnot. his hours had to change due to his trainee status ( of course he had to make his boss and co-workers swear to secrecy of his status ) to weekends, but it’s definitely not that bad.

“ok, are you ready to get started?” he inquires onto his newest student with bright eyes and a confident smile.

Baby It's Cold Outside || Solo

Jiyong is just pulling out the cocoa-covered treats from the oven, waving his mittes over them to get them to cool down faster. They can't be this hot when he puts the finishing touches on them, whipped cream, so he has to wait a few more minutes. He figures he'll set up for the next batch, just as Minji walks into the kitchen and smiles at him.

The radio music is up wait too loud for much conversation and Jiyong is almost sorry for it, but then she's smiling and swaying cutely to the music and he smiles and sways with her. He likes the way her hair frames around her face and how sweet she looks just leaning her elbows on the counter. He thinks about how one day it would feel to have her arms wrapped around his neck. Or her legs wrapped around his waist.

A song comes on the radio that they both know and simultaneously start lipsyncing, immediately laughing as they lock eyes. It would be embarrassing at any other time of year, but because it's Christmas and the song has a girl part and a guy part, Jiyong decides to play it up, lipsyncing the guy's parts across the counter at her, as though he was really saying it to her, pleading for her to stay with him. She's too embarrassed for a while, until he walks slowly around the counter, bouncing on his heels with the beat and still pretending, almost like he's in a musical. She plays along finally after a moment, her cheeks blushing red, but she's adorable and she knows the words.

I ought to say no, no, no Mind if I move in closer? At least I'm gonna say that I tried What's the sense in hurting my pride? I really can't stay Baby don't hold out Ah, but it's cold outside~

Walking on Thin Ice || Minji & Ji & Kyu

There was nothing, absolutely nothing Jiyong was convinced, that could have wiped the smile off his face the day he and Minji went to the ice rink in the town square. It was beautiful; lights and decorations strung up everywhere, Minji laughing and playing with him as they boh struggled to remain upright on the ice. Their hands and arms were clamped together, holding each other up as best they could, but it was pretty useless since neither one of them could stop slipping and falling. Thankfully though, they kept falling on top of each other, which was only making Jiyong even happier. "Ahh!!" he cried, slipping onto his knees once again, bringing her down with him for the nth time. "Okay you know what, I'm sure I'm better at this than right now okay, this is not my fault!" He laughed and struggled to get up again. "I think I just need better shoes okay. I'm gonna go grab some. Wait right here, I'll be right back." He looked ridiculous, but he had to half-crawl back towards the stand where they were loaning out shoes, to get a different size.
