“She’s a hoax! An intergalactic hoax that everyone and their grandma has bought into! Magic this, love that, and so much whimsy you could choke on it. Though, from one accomplished liar to another, I do have to give my congratulations to her. The masks she has are carved quite nicely, quite nicely indeed! But I think she’s getting comfortable. She had her little transformative episode a while back and now everything is as wonderful as can be. All the evil in her soul has been purged, she can go back to having fun!”
It’s a laugh that starts with a snicker at that precious notion, teeth baring all the while. And with each octave that climbing cackle reaches, it’s a crimson glimmer in the eyes that burns brighter and brighter still, like hellish torchlight charring the midnight air. All before a deep intake of air filled lungs once more, head snapping forward with a twitch.
“If it was that easy to get rid of something so foul and sickening, then why am I still around? Truth is, she and I aren’t too different. She’s a sad little girl playing god and I’m a bored little kid with an admittedly different sense of fun.” To a grin that pierced the cheeks, a glower in the eye would give an audible shine as the demon pulled in closer.
“If she decided to cut loose and have some of her own type of fun? She would put me to shame. After all, she’s a celestial janitor, not a cosmic protector. She’s in the wrong line of work! There’s anger in her SOUL that’s dying to be released. I just hope I won’t have to wait too long to see it at its brightest~.”
